James 5

17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

We all have a climate in our lives. This climate can either foster growth and fruitfulness, or it can foster stunted growth and even death.

Our fruits depend on our climate. Not all fruits can be grown in all climates or environments. If we are dying we need to change our climates and environments. They can become barriers and a hindrance to God in our lives and what He leads us to do or be in Christ. You need to make a decision to change your climates if it is not compatible with being fruitful.

There is a time for all things, however hostile climates will not allow some things to grow.

Just come as you are ~ Jesus can change you and your climates

Regardless of your situation, God can deliver you from it, bring salvation. God can change the climate in your house. One thing to be under no illusion of…never mess with what and whom is God’s, woe be to that person.

Just obey God, even when you do not understand or know His plans for you, or why He is leading you to do something. Philip did not really know why he was being led by God into the desert, then he came upon the Samaritan and he was saved. This is where we are called to just listen, hear and obey God, even if not in full knowledge of the why, what, where, when, who’s of things. I am not suggesting this is easy, I find this hard at times and it can mess with your natural mind of knowing and understanding things.

However, we need to get to a point of letting go of what we know, and accepting that our knowledge and wisdom is God’s foolishness, so when God is working in His knowledge and wisdom then why do we think we HAVE to understand?

Without obeying what God leads you to do, out of your climates, your comfort zones…then you simply just will not find out what plans it is God has for you.

Jeremiah 29

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.

Remember this:

No matter what your mess is…it can become God’s message!
No matter what your test is…it can become God’s testimony!

God has a plan for each of us. Your fruitfulness is linked to environment. Regardless of past and struggles, Jesus can bring deliverance, transform…you must make a choice!

Change your climate by speaking positively, speaking life into them! Amen.
