Produce Tabernacles Music
The Tabernacles movement is about joy and celebration. As such, there is going to be a lot of praise and worship…and dancing. I have, over the years written about 20 songs that are what I consider to be tabernacles music.
I want to talk to your about dancing in particular. I believe that when people experience true joy that they automatically want to express themselves like king David. It is written,
“So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before theLord; and she despised him in her heart. And they brought in the ark of the Lord, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.”
2 Samuel 16:15-17
Many of the songs that I have written have dancing in mind and I desire to produce them as dance tunes in order to allow God’s people to have an outlet for the joy they feel towards our Lord and one another.
The world should not presume to have ownership of the best music. In fact, we should produce the best music using everything at our disposal to reflect the Holy Spirit in whatever songs we produce.
God also said,
“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,”
I am praying for people who are “gifted” in the understanding of instruments, in knowledge of vocals and arranging, and in all manner of melodic workmanship to produce high quality music to aid in the building up of Tabernacles saints. My vision for Tabernacles music is to take the best of what the world has done and then let God, through anointed craftsmen like yourself, take it to a higher level in Him.
If you feel that God is calling you to do that then lets talk.
