Being Taken Up In The Rapture Is A Choice
Everything In God Is By Faith
Whether or not you are taken up or caught away to God and to His throne is a choice and not an event you no influence over. People think that they will be totally unaware of their imminent departure but this is false. Elijah was fully aware that he was about to be taken up and also Elisha knew too. In fact, being taken up into glory was God’s answer to Elijah’s prayer. God says,
“And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.”
1 Kings 19:3,4
If you do not believe, then you cannot receive
Basically, if you do not have faith that God will rapture you then you will not go. You will be part of the remnant that goes into the wilderness of this world. God says,
“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the man-child.”
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
We must believe in order to truly see
During the time of Christ, pharisees could stand before the son of God himself and accuse him of performing miracles by the power of Beelzebub. They could have literally reached out and touched the very embodiment of salvation. However, all they could see was someone who did not fit their idea of who God was. They missed the time of their visitation because they refused to believe.
God is not going to keep people out of the time of tribulation who do not want to go. Our Father is not going to take a bride who has not made herself ready. If you believe, through negative faith, that you have what it takes to survive the wrath of the great Dragon then God is going to give you that chance. The 5 foolish virgins we not able to go into the bride groom because they were not prepared to do so. Though the foolish virgins had the potential of being brides they missed their opportunity because they did not make themselves sufficiently ready.
We must prepare ourselves
people leave this earth in the moment, in a twinkling of an eye, because God loves them so much He wishes to spare them the awful events that are about to occur. There is a relationship built that warrants that sort of profound miracle. It is a privilege to be taken up in the first resurrection without seeing death. Out of all the Old Testament saints and prophets only two, Enoch and Elijah, were taken up into the heaven without first dying. Both of these men walked in incredible faith and were not, for God took them. Their manner of life demonstrated that they were worthy of the miracle of translation.
Oil is not optional
My sense is that many read what I write and do not talk these things to heart. When I say we live in a time of “Strong Delusion” some fail to get the true import of those words. When I speak about allowing God’s Divine Love to connect us in supernatural ways it is dismissed as mere conjecture that has no real bearing on their Christian walk. So be it. I am a watchman on the wall and my commission is to warm others of the evil that I see in the distance. Though I would hope that others heed the warnings I give, it is not my responsibility to make them believe. What I am most concerned about is discharging my duty faithfully and as accurately as I am able. Beyond that, God will have to give you eyes to see and ears to hear what His Spirit is saying to this generation.
