A WAR FOR DOMINATION

A war for dominion rages in the heavenlies, and we are the battlefield.  Since time began, the fallen wife of YHWH battles for control over this earth and all its kingdoms.  In this essay, learn who Lucifer really is, and why she led a rebellion against the Most High.

Lucifer declared,

“…I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.’

Isaiah 14:13,14

God shares a lot about Himself and His history in the scriptures, it’s just that oftentimes, because we lack perspective, we can’t see it.  This is why we must live by Revelation and not by knowledge, else we will never figure it out on our own.  On the mountaintops with YHWH, much we can’t see from the valleys, begins to make perfect sense.

The first kingdom and the war for dominion

Originally, Earth was the seat of God’s dominion.  His temple, city, and congregation lay in the sides of the north.  This was the first Mount Zion.  The city of our Great King was the original City of Peace.  The temple, which we see in the book of Isaiah and Revelation, is God’s dwelling place which was originally located in Eden.

Seraphim are the equivalent of God’s wives.  Chief among these heavenly mates was Lucifer.  Therefore, who is Lucifer?  She was the bright and shining one and the covering cherub for this creation.  Her charge was to protect this earth and the garden God planted eastward in Eden. Eden, God’s dominion, stretched from the Nile to the Euphrates river and covered most of what we now think of as the Middle East. YHWH created Adam from the dust of the earth and breathed the breath of life into him, causing him to become a living soul. After that, God created Eve to be His son’s helpmate.  That is when, literally, all hell broke loose and the war for dominion began.

A Seraph, perfect in beauty

When Lucifer realized mankind was meant to be God’s new wife, she rebelled against Him.  The reason that a third of the angels followed this Seraph is that she was, next to God, perfect in beauty.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Ezekiel 28: 12,13

The fall of the anointed Cherub

God says,

“Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.”

Ezekiel 28: 12-16

Mirror, mirror, upon the wall

Eve was God’s crowning achievement in this creation.  In God’s paradise, the first woman was beautiful beyond measure.  However, what really caused God’s preeminent Seraph-wife to become jealous, is that Eve could do something she could never do; bring forth life.

Moreover, it was not just that she could bring forth after Adam’s kind, Eve, through mating with the Holy Spirit and Adam, could bring forth after YHWH’s kind.  To Lucifer’s everlasting rage, Eve, through Adam, could procreate with God.  Lucifer fell through pride and became Satan, the accuser of the brethren.  Therefore, Satan is female, and jealousy over the creation of Eve and her ability, through Adam, to procreate with God, is the surprising origins of the conflict in heaven.

God says,

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Genesis 1:26,27

Therefore, in these scriptures, God is talking to His Seraphim about creating mankind.  The “in our image, after our likeness” talks about creating man in the image of God and his Seraphim.  Thus, Adam was created after the image of God, who is male, and Eve was created after the likeness of Seraphim, who are female.

The judgment of fallen Lucifer and the disobedient angels

Moreover, the book of Isaiah, beginning in chapter three, talks about the fall of Jerusalem.  However, these passages speak of much more than the sacking and destruction of an earthly city.  In fact, these passages talk of the judgment of the original rebellion in Eden’s Mount of the Congregation.

The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.  The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.  What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts.  Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:  Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts.”

Isaiah 3:13-17

YHWH declares,

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:  When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 4: 3,4

Isaiah stood in the Temple of YHWH

In fact, when Isaiah sees the vision of God, high and lifted up, He is seeing God at that time, in His temple in heaven.  This is the same Temple that God dwelt in on the sides of the north in Eden before moving it to the spiritual realm.  YHWH speaks judgment of the daughters of Zion, which is a picture of His judgment upon Lucifer and the angels who rebelled against Him.

Thus, God writes a lot about what happened during the war in heaven in the scriptures.  However, we cannot see it because we think of Lucifer as a “he” and, since the daughters of Zion are females, we never equate the two.  However, allowing God to give us His perspective, everything begins to clarify.

Lucifer is female

Lucifer is the equivalent of God’s wife and, because God is male, the sum of all beauty is female. Likewise, as the Lamb’s wife, mankind is a Seraph in the making.  The Bride of Christ is female, though made up of both male and female.  Just as we cannot understand God fully,  Seraphim are beyond our earthly comprehension too.

A third of the fallen angels thought she would win the war for dominion

Finally, the angels didn’t follow Lucifer thinking she was going to lose.  A third of the host of heaven followed that prideful Seraph, sure she would win.  Jesus died upon the cross, paying the redemption price for mankind, sealing the fallen Seraph’s fate.  As Jesus gave up the ghost, it was finished.  God rent the veil and only 50 days hence, the Holy Spirit, which left Adam and Even in Eden, returned to indwell mankind once again.

In conclusion, the turmoil on earth past, present, and future, is due to the jealous rage of a fallen wife of the Most High.  This war for dominion, all the carnage we see, is a struggle to determine who will rule over this earth.  The war for dominion is essentially a divorce that God decreed before time began.  It is a custody battle over who will rule mankind.  Like Queen Vashti was put away from the presence of King Ahasuerus, God cast Lucifer from heaven to earth.  Upon being cast down, the first place Satan went was the Garden of Eden to kill Eve.  The Devil knew that in the day that the first woman ate of the forbidden fruit, she would surely die.  Mankind is Esther and we are to be the new queen of the Most High.
