Woman desires direct experience with God

We all want a direct experience with God…

Let’s face it; we all want direct experience with God.  That is, we all want to sit down with Jesus and talk about our problems and have Him answer us. There is no greater desire in most people than to feel close to God.

So what gives?  Why, if that is what we all want, don’t we find it? Some resort to legalism and convince themselves they don’t need such emotional connection.  “Bible believers” look down on those who become emotional in the presence of the Almighty.  Bless God, the scriptures are truth and that’s good enough for them.  Others turn towards fanaticism, simply pretending what they desire is happening when it isn’t.  In desperate times,  a few touch God and feel, for a fleeting moment, complete “oneness” with Him.  They feel whole in His presence, but it never seems to last.

Looking for direct experience in all the wrong places.

The truth is, most believers are looking for a direct experience with God in all the wrong places. Fact is, our Father is no longer appearing in burning bushes or pillars of fire and smoke. Nowadays, God is dwelling in the heart of your brother or sister standing next to you. Therefore, if you want to see God, if you want to touch God, if you want to speak with God, a believer is your best bet.

God says,

“So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”

Romans 12:5

and,

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”

Ephesians 4:15,16

We are members one of another

The spiritual reality is, we are all members of the body of Christ.

God says,

“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

Matthew 25:40

We are joined, as Christ sees fit, to one another in love. Frankly, this is where you will find your God in this day and age. He is not above you, but right beside you.

Paul says,

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

2 Corinthians 4:6,7

Direct experience: God in us

God, the very light of creation, shines in each one of us just as He did in Jesus Christ. The Shekinah glory of the burning bush radiates through the eyes of God’s Elect. To touch God, hug your brother. Do you want to hear God speak? Listen to Him in your sister.  To fellowship with God, fellowship with one another in love.

God says,

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Matthew 18:20

This truth is a current revelation given, by the Spirit of God, directly to you. Divine love is the true nature of the Body of Christ.  The reason why so many people are looking for (but not finding) God is that they are simply looking everywhere else than where He really is.  YHWH resides inside each one of us who are baptised in His Spirit.  God is literally dwelling inside your brethren.

In the presence of our Lord

We all (meaning me too) must mature in God.  I am speaking to your spirit and not to your natural minds now.  The reason that some call what I say, “Christian Mysticism”, is that we have, in large part, not experienced what the Apostles and the early church knew as commonplace.

The things I write make perfect sense only from the vantage point of having experienced Divine Love.  John chapter 17 means something quite different to those who experience Divine Love than those who do not.  In fact, those who are one with God experience become living Epistles.

Everywhere the scriptures speak of love, it is in reference to the “sign” of Tabernacles, which is Divine Love. This is why it is important to seek the Tabernacle blessing.  Seek to be filled with Divine Love, for it is the free gift of God.  Just as much as you sought salvation or Holy Spirit baptism, ask to be one with God through direct experience.

Why don’t we find a direct experience through our brethren?

Some may think,  “I have met my brethren and they act nothing like God manifest in the flesh.”  That sentiment is absolutely true. Most of the time our interactions are more with the Devil than His Holy Spirit.  Actually, there is little wonder Satan works overtime to keep us divided and hurt.  The unity of the Body of Christ would spell certain doom for Satan’s intentions here on Earth.

Paul reveals,

“Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

Colossians 1:26,27

Don’t allow the past to imprison your present

The Devil beats up everyone throughout their entire lives.  Bad experiences, most of which are authored by demons, cause us to protect ourselves by closing off our hearts.  However, the walls we erect for protection often become our prison.  What we hope keeps us safe, actually prevents us from accessing what we really need; Christ in each other.

Direct experience through Divine Love

The solution to all of this isolation is to have direct experience with God.  Do this by opening up to God’s Divine Love in each other.

Paul says,

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Romans 5:5

And John says,

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

1 John 4:8

Moreover, as God dwells in us and we also become love.  Therefore,

“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

1 Peter 4:8

The love of God “heals” us and makes us whole. When we are whole, without fear, others see us as we truly are.  God says,

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

James 5:16

The manifestation of the sons of God

God shines through us as we become transparent.  Additionally, when the love of God flows through you, you feel what He feels towards others.  Better yet, God loves everyone, therefore you can and will love anyone. Jesus Christ felt God’s love for the entire world and we can too.

In conclusion, Divine Love is simply God Himself. It is an experience that we ask for just as we have asked for salvation or Holy Spirit baptism. The experience of Divine Love is the “sign” of Tabernacles.  God wants you to seek the Tabernacle blessing just as much as we have sought anything else in Him.

In conclusion, God says,

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”

John 17:20:21

Finally, as God fills us with His love, we naturally love one another.  Seeing Jesus in each other’s eyes, feeling Jesus in each other’s touch, we love each other as he loves us.  The manifested sons of God become one in Him and Christ’s Body unites.  This is what it means to be one as Christ and God are one.
