ears to hear

God says,

“And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.”

Deuteronomy 29:2-4

The ability to understand God comes not from native intellect, but rather from the Lord Himself.  Wisdom to understand is simply given to those who ask.  It is God’s Spirit which reveals, for without His divine light our natural man can never truly see.

The fearful and unbelieving do not have ears to hear

When the Holy Spirit exhibits unusual manifestations, there are always those who reject the whole revival based upon the parts they don’t like.  These people seek to draw attention to what they judge to be excessive and unbiblical  Moreover, they ridicule and berate all those who speak positively of the good that happens.

It is important for Tabernacle Christians to understand that men reject God out of their understanding of “good”.  Holding on to the forbidden fruit, they stand against His Spirit because their hearts cannot receive Him.  Therefore, nothing that is said in favor of the moving of His Spirit penetrates their understanding.

There are none so deaf as those who will not hear

Many confidently assert that none can “prove” the way in which God manifests Himself.  Yet when even when you “prove” these experiences are the natural outflow of Divine Love, detractors will not hear it.  This is because their opposition has nothing to do with reason, but everything to do with fear.  Like the children of Israel at Mount Horeb, fearful people simply will not hear and therefore cannot hear God’s voice.

While some may honestly disagreed in a civil and respectful manner, many devolve into ravenous wolves.  We don’t have to hate each other when we disagree.  We know our understanding only approximates the truth, yet are you 100% right?  Obviously, as God reveals more, our understanding of the Tabernacle experience will improve.  We accept that we “know in part”, so why do you judge us for not knowing everything yet?

Bitterly opposed, ridiculed, then accepted as inevitable

Frankly, this is how it usually goes with any restoration of a fundamental truth.  Those who seek to present what God is doing are usually bitterly opposed, then ridiculed and dismissed, but ultimately viewed as pioneers in the faith.  It is who we know and not what we know that is important to us.  We have full confidence that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us as we move in Him.

Do you have ears to hear?

As Tabernacle Christians, I caution you to not give in to those who stand against what God is showing you, who do not have ears to hear. Due to a lack of willingness to acknowledge God, their minds are darkened.  Natural minded people simply cannot perceive what is obvious to those who see and feel the warmth of His Son’s light.

There is a new dawn coming.  The outpouring of God’s Spirit upon those with ears to hear is simply marvelous.  The truth is, there is a vast sea of people who hunger and thirst after the things of God.  Once those who hunger and thirst taste the freedom God has for them, they will gladly hear what He Says.

We cannot stay in Egypt to minister to those who will not hear

There is little that we can do for those who don’t have ears to hear and reject the moving of God’s Spirit.  Though we might desire to help them see the light, we cannot make them see the light.  Why is this so?  It is because in order to see God they must open their blind hearts by faith.

God did amazing things in the past and God is about to do amazing things in the future.  There is a new generation that has grown up in the wilderness and they are eager to cross over Jordan at this time.  While we mourn for those who are bleaching their bones in the spiritual wilderness of this world, we look forward.  God is with us and He goes before us.  All we need do is follow after Him by faith.

My writings are never meant to be Dogma

My writings on this website are a rough sketch of Tabernacles Theology.  They are an apologetic for the Divine Love that people are about to experience.  These posts lay the framework for a new and expanded understanding of God’s word, supple enough to contain the restoration of the Final Feast.

Take heart as you read through them and consider the precepts contained herein.  Prove all things and hold fast that which you find good.  Above all have confidence in what the Holy Spirit says to you personally.
