Face to Face With God Means Being Face To Face With Each Other

When we draw close to God, face to face, we find He draws out many of our hidden attributes. The truth is, during conception, our Father creates many gifts within each one of us. Like precious stones, these talents only shine by reflecting His light.

You are no accident

Fearfully and wonderfully made, we are not mere accidents of procreation. God foreordained each one of us to be born and predestined us to a path leading to eternal life.  While evolutionists want us to believe that we are insignificant in the cosmic scale of this universe, the fact is that we are eternal, while it is not.

God mesmerizes our hearts and spirits to the point where we are His and He is ours. Falling in love with our Savior, God’s takes, fills, and completely possesses us by His Spirit.  As He blesses us we, in turn, bless Him and our affection oscillates and amplifies until it consumes every part of our being. When we walk with God, He cannot help but take us. This is precisely what happened to Enoch.

God says,

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”

Genesis 5:23, 24

Face to face with our God

By God’s love shed abroad in our hearts, He lifts us up above earthly cares, bringing us up to mountain tops with Him. Though we are still in the world, because we only see His face, we’re just not part not of it any longer. His love is supernatural, therefore His love becomes part of us, we become supernatural too.

The Holy Spirit propels and drives us forward together and individually as we yield to His love.  Ceasing from our own labors (thinking) we respond instantaneously to His Spirit’s slightest touch. Our body becomes His body, our soul His soul, our spirit His Spirit. There is fast approaching a day that, if you see us, you will see the Father.

God presents wisdom as a woman in Ecclesiastes, because God’s wife is full of wisdom. A woman feels compassion, seeing into hearts of those around her. She stands strong against falsehoods and does not bend to convention, but “knows” right from wrong intuitively.  The daughter of Eve, because she is a vessel of life, yields herself to God and protects it. In fact, I believe that whereas Adam “knew things by the Spirit” such as naming the animals, Eve was the one who “understood things from her heart”, because she is the mother of all living.

God fills up our senses

The Spirit of God is sensuous, there is really no other way to put it. Feeling His Spirit switches us “on” in every area of our lives…body, soul, and spirit. Our connection with God is what Satan sought to damage in the Garden of Eden. Now, we put on aprons of fig leaves to cover ourselves, ashamed for betraying our Heavenly Lover. The direct conduit from His Spirit to our bodies, souls, and spirits is shattered.  As a woman caught in the very act of adultery, we couldn’t bear for our husband to look upon our nakedness.

It is our connection with God that broke down because of sin.  In the beginning there was no separation between body, soul and spirit.  All that God made was good and holy and “one”.  We only received a lower nature because God’s Spirit left us as we became natural minded.  Before we sinned, God integrated with every aspect of our lives, the most important of those being intimacy with each other.

You feel God when you unite with Him

Conversely, when we put off our fig leaves our sensual connection with God begins anew. We feel Him hold us once again intimately. Like lovers, separated for too long, our spirits fall into each others arms with unfettered passion. The reason that there are so many strange manifestations during some revivals is that people suddenly feel divine love again and don’t know what to do with it.

The shaking, roaring, rolling on the floor etc. are people reconnecting with God while still resisting Him with their natural minds. Instead of simply letting God take full control they stop His Spirit from having his way.  Thus believers stammer and shake like women on the verge of orgasm.

What Spiritual unions really are is God knitting His body of believers together through spiritual connection with Him.  God loves us through each other.  When it comes to a man and woman who are divinely united by His Spirit, their passion knows no bounds.  God loves them through each other and they love God in each other.  For some, what I say seems very “mystical”.  However, when you experience it yourself, it is more real than life itself. Frankly, most everything I write about is based upon real world spiritual experiences I have had.

Created to be God’s lover

The fact is that we were created to be God’s lover.  As Eve was to Adam so the Body of Christ is to God.  There is a profound linkage between sensuality and revelation because revelation is the anti-type of sexual intercourse.  If people dared to fully release themselves to God during worship the climax in the Spirit would be nothing short of orgasmic.  As I’ve said before, love-making, done as God originally intended, is an act of worship.  In fact sexual/spiritual union with God and divinely joined mates is worship in its most pure and elemental form.

We see this common thread of sensuality in worship in many false religions too.  Far from inventing this form of divine expression, they only corrupted what God already created and used it for ungodly purposes. However, love feasts do exist in scripture and these intimate celebrations are pure expressions of love through the body of Christ to God.

Spiritual union knows no bounds

There exists a divine love feast that spans time and space.  We are coming into an era when the Body of Christ will not only connect with each other in the present, but in the past and future as well.  As the wife of God we transcend the natural realm, taking our rightful place beside Him as His divine mate for eternity.  In the end, we are that part of God taken out of Him and brought back again to make Him whole.

In eternity everyone becomes part of a great love feast between and through every saved person and their descendents. The Holy Spirit covers the face of the earth and all shall know God intimately.  Our relationships throughout eternity are led by His Spirit from friendship right down to mating. We will interact and react to each other only as His Spirit leads. Friendships form because we feel to get to know a certain person. We love as the Spirit loves and our sexual unions ebb and flow as He desires.  All children are born of the Spirit and no child shall ever be born out of His will.

We know Him as we are known

Healing is our portion in the New Heavens and New Earth.  In that place no one remembers the former things, because our present joy is complete.  All are naked and unashamed before God and each other, whether we wear clothes or not.  Clarity of vision is our portion as we come face to face with our Savior.  It is a wondrous future, therefore God says,

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

I Corinthians 2:9

As you watch this clip, imagine the man is God and the girl is mankind. I submit to you that the power of this movie lies in the fact that it echos a far greater, eternal truth.  God longs for His Eve and will do literally anything, including asking His son to die in our place for our sins, to finally possess her.
