God is one

The Nature Of God

God says,

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:”

Deuteronomy 6:4

And,

“I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:”

Isiah 45:5

I woke up this morning and I thought to myself,

“There is a type of mass heresy that infects believers of this age, yet it does not appear to be a heresy because so many people believe it.”

The definition of a heretic is,

“a person believing in or practicing religious heresy.”

In general, God has not led me to speak about the doctrine of God being “One” even though it is a central tenet of my faith.  However, I believe now is the time to speak plainly to those who have ears to hear what His Spirit is saying to this generation.

The doctrine of the Trinity is heresy.  It is a doctrine that keeps God’s people in the dark about His true nature and prevents those who believe in it from realizing what their true function in God is.  It is a belief that has no foundation in scriptures but that is powered by demonic deception borne out of compromise and fear.

They know not what they do

People who believe in the trinity are, many times, unwitting heretics who do not realize that they are believing false doctrine because literally everyone around them believes the same error. The truth of the matter is that God is one.  There is no God beside Him. Therefore, Jesus Christ is not God nor is He the second person of the trinity.  Likewise, the Holy Spirit is not the third person of the trinity but simply our heavenly Father who is a Spirit and is Holy: hence the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ was born of a woman and was a man whose Father was God.  He is not another God that sits at the right hand of his Heavenly Father but rather a man who is filled with all the fullness of God.  This did not happen until Christ’s baptism at the river Jordan. At that time Jesus was filled with all that God is and from then on, most of the time, when you met Jesus  you saw God incarnate.

God did not die on the cross, the man Christ Jesus did.  God cannot die.  Had the Spirit of God not left Jesus He could not have died either.  It was foreordained that a man should die for the sins of the world so that the descendants of Adam could be forgiven and have eternal life.

The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine

The false doctrine of the trinity is an example of how far Christianity has drifted from sound doctrine. Even the understanding of the very nature of God and His son Jesus Christ has been corrupted to such an extent that people rail against Him being “one” because they are so steeped in trinitarian heresy.

I am not going to go into great detail here to explain why the trinity is heresy, there are whole books that perform that function very well. What I am going to do is explain why people have fallen into this heresy and why you should not believe it.

Error is a measure of distance from God

As people fall away from the experience of God they naturally fall away from the truth of God.  Contrary to what many think, doctrine is not primarily a function of understanding scripture.  People receive true revelation by actually experiencing God.  A case in point is that, though God says that He is “one” and that there is no God beside Him, most of Christendom has fallen into a belief that is the exact opposite of that truth.  This is because most have never really met God because when you experience God it is crystal clear God is one.

A doctrine of demons

The trinity is a doctrine of demons and is offensive to God.  If you believe in the doctrine of the trinity it doesn’t mean you are unsaved.  Believing in the trinity simply means that, in this vital area, you are deceived by an untruth born of the pit of hell. Some might say that putting it that way is “too” strong but I believe that, in order to free ourselves of this damaging dogma, we must confront people with the plain truth.  Therefore, I reiterate, the trinity is a doctrine born of hell.  It is that simple.

Why Is This Important?

Why is this important?  It is important to understand the nature of God in Christ so that we can understand our relationship to our Father.  God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.  The Holy Spirit filled His son without measure and manifested His glory to the world.  Now, the same Holy Spirit is in us, as the body of Christ, finishing the job of reconciliation. This is why we, as Christ’s body, preach the good news.  This is why we, as Christ’s body, do the same sort of things He did while here on Earth.  Moreover, this is why we, as the body of Christ, are raised from the dead just as Christ was.

God has not given us a spirit of fear

Truly, it takes a revelation of God to break the grip of this false doctrine upon those who believe it.  The stronghold of this demon (which is actually what the trinity is) is fear and intimidation.  People correctly realize that to believe the truth and declare it openly ostracizes them from others (ironically they say, for His name’s sake.) However, stand with God and not with those who do not accept who He really is.  Men, no matter how they rage or threaten, cannot and will not judge us at the resurrection. Come into His light and take a stand against deception.  Do so now so that in that final day we may stand before God in righteousness and in truth.

Those who have ears will hear

Those who truly want to serve God will hear this message.  Your spirit knows the truth, but it may take a while for your mind to catch up; and that is OK. Search the scriptures as God leads you and you will find that what I have said is correct. Have courage to stand firm upon your convictions.  Do not allow those who are caught in a lie to intimidate you out of the truth. God’s nature is His name. Standing with God in truth is part of not denying that name. Once you have received a revelation like this it is important to hold fast to it.  If you reject the truth you must, by necessity, accept deception. Once you accept deception after having known the light it tends to arrest your development in God.

We don’t have the luxury of unbelief

For my part, I realize that only those led by His Spirit will accept God as He truly is. The majority of Christendom has not and will not yield to God’s truth.  Most love the praise of men rather than the fellowship of their Father. In times past there was a type of grace for such heresy, but no more.  We stand on the precipice of the great falling away, believing such fundamental error sets people up to receive the Antichrist.

Hear my brethren, the Lord thy God is one Lord

Finally, it takes time to come out of such great deception.  Some find it difficult to switch their viewpoint after being taught this false doctrine.  It is not that the truth is hard to see, it is just that there is a certain amount of spiritual blindness that needs healing. Give yourself time and let the Spirit of truth wash you with the water of His word.  Truly, if you seek Him with your whole heart, you shall find Him.
