The Great Apostasy: What It Is And How To Avoid It

Will you chose to love God?
What I am about to say is an emerging truth. That is, this is on the very forefront of what the Holy Spirit is speaking to His Church. As such the depth of this revelation may change over time. I understand, that presently, this is only the outer edges of it.
Paul says,
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;“
2 Thessalonians 1-3
Paul, in speaking to the church at Thessalonica, spoke about a great falling away that would proceed the rapture. The apostle declared that the second coming of Christ would not happen except apostacy occurred and the Antichrist be revealed. Therefore, the falling away occurs in conjunction with the son of perdition. These two events are a function of “Stong delusion.”
Paul speaks further,
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
He is a truth which I can’t over state,
“We are currently in the midst of
STRONG DELUSION”
This Strong Delusion is about to produce the great apostacy. Moreover, as a watchman on the wall, I am warning this is an event that we do not see coming.
God says,

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.”
Revelation 12:3,4
It is the “tail” of the dragon that casts down a third of the stars of heaven. We know the stars of heaven are saints as we see in the book of Daniel,
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
Daniel 12:2,3
Normally, I don’t give much scripture because, frankly, you will either know what I say is true by the Holy Spirit or you won’t. However, in this essay I believe that it is good to provide a starting point if you wish to study about the Great Apostasy. Here is a truth,
“People are swept up in the great falling away unexpectedly. Those who enter into the great apostasy are taken completely by surprise.”
We are on the verge of something very unexpected
We are on the verge of a move of the Spirit, the last great revival in the church age, meant to complete and bring believers into perfection. This is the move of Tabernacles I have spoken about extensively on this website. However, it is the manifestation of the move of Tabernacles that will take people unawares. I solemnly testify that the church and the world are not prepared for the revealing of Divine Love in God’s people. In fact, Satan conditions people against holy intimacy.

As a watchman on the wall, I tend to see things before they take place. Likewise, I see the Great Apostasy coming in an unexpected way. What I see today is that people are going to apostatize from the faith because of the manifestation of Divine Intimacy in the Body of Christ. In other words, when God begins to move through His people in Holy Love it will create a division within the church. Some will embrace holy intimacy and others will reject it. Those who reject God’s love will persecute those who accept Him. As believers reject Holy Intimacy they will allow the Devil and her demons to manifest hatred through them (the exact opposite of divine love).
What did you expect to happen?
I ask you, “what do you expect to happen during a time of the bride of Christ?” If natural lovers kiss and hold each other intimately, why should we be surprised when God does that through His saints? The bone of contention in the Body of Christ will be how God does this. The way a spirit manifests itself in this physical realm is by possessing a person. Spirits, good or bad, supplant the spirit of the person and possess their bodies to the degree that the person allows them too. Since God is a Spirit, it makes sense that our bridegroom will love His bride through the many member Body of Christ.

For instance, what happens when a holy kiss takes place? What makes it holy? Many people assume that it is holy because it is a pure expression of love between saints. However, I believe it is much more than that. I believe it is God literally kissing through each person. The Holy Spirit expresses His love physically through the body, heart, and soul of each individual. Thus, the physical act of kissing is, in fact, a manifestation of God’s Divine Love.
Holy Hugs!
Likewise, there are holy hugs, holy caressing, and, in some cases, holy sex too. As we come back into alignment with God we begin to behave as we would have lived in the Garden of Eden. Everything we do starts to conform to God’s will and purposes. Our speech is His speech, God looks through our eyes, our touch becomes His touch, and so on and so forth. Everything we do, from walking together in fellowship to divine marriages becomes a function of yielding to His Spirit.
Agape sex is the complete physical expression of Divine Love between a man and women. Such holy intimacy is only proper within a Divine Union. Though the body of Christ will be very affectionate with one another, sexual intercourse will still be the act of marriage. This will only occur when God joins a man and a woman together, uniting them as one in His spirit for the purpose of fulfilling the first commandment. As I understand this in the Spirit, unless you have God’s permission and leading to become husband and wife for life, you commit fornication or adultery.
There a physical manifestations whenever God moves
Whenever God does something there are physical manifestations. In fact, the first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve was to be intimate. God created physical expression and then said “be fruitful and multiply” i.e. have sex. If you are honest with the scriptures, God has never shied away from physical love, in fact, He called all that He made very good.
Many are so far from God that we are unused to how God He really is. We are not accustomed to how God demonstrates His love and therefore we find it uncomfortable. However, Jesus spat in the dust, made mud and applied it to the blind man’s eyes. Elijah laid upon the dead child 7 times before God raised him from he dead. David danced before the ark of the covenant unclothed. In fact, God never even bothered to tell Adam and Eve they were naked.
It is in the practical working out of Divine love that people will take offense. When believers witness people kissing or doing other affectionate things with the opposite sex their sensibilities will be shaken. Instead of recognizing and realizing that what is taking place is holy and righteous they will be tempted to rail against it as sin.
That’s my spouse!

In the Christian church, spouses, especially men, believe they have certain marital rights. This includes fidelity and chaste behavior. However, as the Holy Spirit takes on a position of preeminence in their spouses, things will change. As their mate starts to yield and do what God says, when he says to do it, with whomever He says to do it with, that is when jealousy may arise.
Hell hath no fury like Lucifer scorned
The first apostasy occurred in heaven. When Lucifer, the bright and shining one, found out that God was about to create man and especially “woman”, her pride caused her to sin. Rather than accept what God was about to do, she led a rebellion against God and there was war in heaven. Realizing that mankind was able to bring forth life, and was to be God’s wife, the chief musician became jealous. Satan targeted Eve because she could bear children.
That jealousy, which is in fact envy, is straight from the pit of hell. It is what drove Lucifer to temp Eve. Lucifer hated the thought of man created a little lower than her, but destined to be crowned with glory. That fallen Seraph wanted Eve to die and was willing to do anything to make that happen. Consequently, when spouses, like Lucifer, open up to the spirit of jealously against what God does, the wrath of hell enters their hearts too. Christians either are filled with God’s love or filled with Satan’s hate. In rejecting God’s Spirit you necessarily open up to the demonic realm. It is at this point the division and the apostasy begins.

The scriptures tell us that when Mary Magdalene, a harlot, came to Jesus and washed his feet with her hair, the Pharisee thought,
“Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.”
Luke 7:39
Judging by the natural, a pharisee named Simon, completely misinterpreted what the motivation, and thus the action, of the woman was about.
However, Jesus said,
“And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.”
Luke 7:44-48
Here is a truth,
“In the near future, the dividing line between eventual heaven or hell will be the acceptance or rejection of God’s Holy Intimacy within the Body of Christ.”

As Holy Intimacy begins to reveal itself in all forms of affection, including varying degrees of physical intimacy, those who accept His love will become the church of Philadelphia. Those who reject the demonstration of God’s love will apostatize, becoming the church of Laodicea. In addition, those who rebuff God’s advances will turn upon those who yield to His Intimacy. Just as the Pharisees sought to crucify Jesus, modern-day pharisees will seek to have lovers of the most high killed.
Satan sets us up to reject God’s intimacy

To many, a nun or priest is considered most holy. People define purity as lack of physical touch. However, this is exactly opposite of the way God created mankind to be. As we come back to the Garden, true innocence will reemerge in His people. Holy Intimacy, pure agape love, will flow through us and we will hug, kiss, and be physically intimate with each other to the degree we feel led by the Holy Spirit.
This is what people do not see coming. Rejection of the manifestation of God’s physical love through the saints is what trigger the great falling away. The backlash against Holy Intimacy is the unexpected tail of the Dragon. Calling God’s expression of love sin, is the primary cause of the great apostasy. Those who will not allow God to love them will, in effect, enlist with the dragon to try to kill the man-child.
Let’s all embrace God

Though there are many who fall away, many more embrace Holy Intimacy. The majority of Christians hear and feel what God does gladly. The experience of Divine love will unite the Body of Christ as never before. True unity in love will bring about the unity of the faith. The Body of Christ moves as one under the leading of God’s Spirit. Becoming transparent, the power of God flows through us like it did through Jesus Christ. A great revival, characterized by miracles and love, sweeps the world. This move of love culminates in the rapture of the bride of Christ.
The way to avoid the great apostasy
The only way to avoid the great apostasy is to learn to be led by God’s Spirit. Forsake the knowledge of good in favor of a life lived by revelation. We are in the midst of such Strong Delusion that without God’s Spiritual illumination we are blind. We must let go and let God lead us. Our natural minds are no match for the son of perdition whose workings are after the power of Satan. Strong revelation is our only defense against strong delusion.
Father, give us eyes that we may see
In conclusion, it is time to open up our eyes and see what God is truly doing. There comes a time when the bride puts off her wedding gown, slips her stockings off, unhooks her bra and let’s her lacy undergarments fall to the floor. Likewise, the day is coming when we shall all stand naked and unashamed before our heavenly lover too. Earthly marriage requires intimacy, therefore, Holy Marriage to Jesus requires Holy Intimacy.
Finally, if you don’t fully understand what I say about the great apostasy, hide these things in your heart. There will come a day, soon, when all I write will make better sense. Much of what I say will become clear as you enter into the tabernacle experience. For now, just remain open and pliable before God, letting Him mold you as He sees fit.
Dear Brethren,
I write by revelation. I feel a message in my spirit and I write until the Spirit says it is finished. Sometimes this is a short essay, but many times they are quite lengthy. My main purpose in writing is to say whatever God has on His mind. Therefore, while some of my sayings may not be “user friendly” they reflect, as much as I am able, exactly what I recieve.
My writings are also foundational. I dig deep because the structure is large. In building a new theology you must root up and tear down much of the old error. You cannot leave the false when you desire to lay the blocks straight and true. Much of the work that goes into these writings is demolition.
As ministers and saints you do not need to understand nor agree with everything I write. All that you need do is take those parts that God illuminates and use them as you are led by His Holy Spirit. Honestly, it is a grace if you don’t understand all that I write, because to know the mind of our Father is truly the burden of the word of the Lord.
Finally, you must seek to find. It takes effort to know God. The truth is here if you truly want to find it, you just need to willing to put in the time to do so.
God bless,
Michael
I have to admit that I find this article hard to digest, in that I could not imagine kissing someone Passionately without a sexual feeling.
I had a strange thing happen when I was in my mid 20’s, I was single and had a good friend and surfing mate who was married to a beautiful girl ,we were all very good friends who also went to the same church. One night my mate had to stay back at church a bit late and asked if I could drive his wife home.
On the way home we chatted like we always had, I dropped her off and I went home. Then I started to get the strangest feeling, that I can only equate to being like the first time you kiss a girl passionately, it felt like my spirit was doing back flips inside me. I couldn’t understand why.
A couple of days later when I saw my friends again, I was telling them about this strange thing. The following day my friend’s wife called me in tears, telling me that she had been flirting with me in my car on the way home from church, being naive about women, I had no idea at the time. I told her not to worry about it and that I was very flattered. I never felt awkward with her after that and hope she didn’t feel bad about it. Just an experience when my spirit knew what was going on but my head had no idea.
Jace.
Hey Jace,
Dear Jace,
Just got home from Africa. Read you comment. Yes, it is pretty much of a mind bender thinking you could kiss another without being aroused. However, pure love does not engender those types of feelings, and if they do happen, they are very secondary.
Many times, our natural man mistakes spiritual connections for flirting or desiring someone in the flesh. That is not surprising because that is the only frame of reference most of us have.
To the pure all things are pure. It is the intent that you kiss with which makes all the difference. It is a special instance of loving someone and takes place only when and if the Holy Spirit leads you to do it. Otherwise, it can and most often is, just and artifact of the flesh.
Thanks for your comment,
God bless,
Michael
Dear Brethren,
There have been so many who have pronounced “doom and gloom” that we tend to “tune out” any message that seems negative. This is, of course, by design, because our adversary, the Devil, wants us to become numb to the signs of the times.
Natural minded interpretation of prophecy is essentially worthless. The natural man simply cannot know the things of God, for they are spiritually discerned. Therefore, I don’t even attempt to explain things of the Spirit in a logical, analytical manner anymore.
The truth is, if you are seeking God you will find Him. No matter how opaque what I say may seem to those who approach God from the knowledge of good, they are crystal clear to those who are led of the Spirit.
When you read these writings, you cannot demand that everything make sense at the outset. If you wonder how I put together A, B, and Z the answer is “by revelation”. God simply told me and I wrote it down. I would not have arrived at most of what I say through study of the scripture, because these things, though true, are again spiritually discerned.
So, what if I am wrong? What if I did not hear correctly? I say, it is possible that I am mistaken or have not heard and written perfectly. However, you have a Spirit within you, the comforter, who promises to lead and guide you into all truth. I am confident that, even if I am not perfect in what I write, the Spirit in you will either bear witness or not. Therefore, trust God and do what He says regardless of what I say.
Sincerely,
Michael
I think I’ve read this blog post before. Feels like new again. Did you always have that “ready for love” video imbedded in this post?
Dear Ugo,
Yes, I think I put that song to it when I penned it. I believe that the Bride of Christ desires her Bridegoom all the time and is essentially “ready and willing ” to love him anytime, anywhere, and in anyway with anyone. If it wasn’t Jesus, we would be tempted to say, “Hey, guys, get a room”.
In fact, that level of unbridled desire is what draws Christ back to earth to meet us in the air. It is our connection with Jesus, as a Holy Virgin, which causes him to take a break from preparing a place for us.
So, yes, I think the Bride of Christ is always ready for love.
Big hugs,
Michael
Hmm…I asked bc that was the same song the Lord had put in my heart a few weeks ago.
Dear Ugo,
Very kewl! You know, as we progress in Jesus, we tend to start experiencing similar things and we are drawn to certain songs that speak to our encounters. So I am not surprised you are drawn to that particular artist’s music!
Big hugs and lots of love,
Michael
