Paul says there is one Spirit,
“Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;”
Philippians 1:27
And,
“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”
Ephesians 4:3-5
And finally,
“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”
1 Corinthians 6:17
There is one Spirit: God Almighty
There is only one true Spirit and that is YHWH. All those who desire to worship God must worship Him in that one Spirit and truth. The personage or manifestation of that One Spirit is His son Jesus Christ.
In these latter days, all those who are chosing to live by that one true Spirit are becoming like Christ. We listen to and obey that One Spirit without question. God’s voice is our creed and His will is our will.
God says,
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:”
Hebrews 1:1-3
In these last days, a separation taking place. God’s people are becoming one in His Spirit. God is Love, therefore we become love. This is why there is a church of Philadelphia. People recognize God in us, for we are like Him.
The spirit of this age
However, there is another spirit, a false spirit, that seeks to substitute itself for the one true Spirit of God. This is the Spirit of Antichrist. The misery we see in the world is brought about by those who yield to this evil spirit. What seems like a lot of people doing bad things independently is all motivated, at its core, by the spirit of a fallen Seraph; i.e. Lucifer.
God says,
“There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.”
Proverbs 30:11-14
Whereas Christians have one Spirit of love, peace and a sound mind, those who yield to the spirit of Antichrist have a spirit of disresepct, jealousy, and hatred. As we get closer to the revealing of that “man of sin”, the Antichrist, that spirit becomes stronger. As Christians we need to recognize what is going on so that we are not swept up in the Strong Delusion of this age.
Here is a truth,
“You will either choose to become one with God or you will choose to become one with the Antichrist. There is no middle ground any longer.”
