Rod that budded

In this essay, I write about topics that are considered taboo in Christianity.  If frank discussions of intimacy bother you, please do not continue reading.

God says,

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.   In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Revelation 22:1,2

And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.”

Numbers 17:8

Twelve manner of fruits

The tree of life, as seen in the Book of Revelation, is female.   The rod of Moses, that budded, is male.  Together these bring forth the full Rhema of God.  The city of God, the New Jerusalem, is made up of many people, yet they are of one heart and one soul.  Together, we become one in Christ, and God is all in all.

“Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.”

Ezekiel 47:1

We see, that in the millennial temple, a stream flows out from under the house of God that brings healing wherever it goes.  In fact, these sweet waters actual bring the dead sea back to life.

God says,

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.  And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.”

Ezekiel 47:8,9

All these scriptures paint pictures of God’s kingdom.  Life is the main theme and our beloved gives life through everything He creates, and gives life more abundantly.

There will I give thee my loves

Before a man and woman unite, she readies for her lover.  The condition of her heart affects her feminine anatomy.  Likewise, when a man looks upon the love of his life, he reacts too.  Our preparation for love is authored by God and therefore pure, holy, and good.

The river of life which flows from under God’s threshold, just like the clear river that flows from the loins of a man, carries life.  That same river flows through the tree of life as a woman prepares to receive her King.  This is the natural course of all creation.

What is God saying to us through physical intimacy?

Unfortunately, living in a world filled with sin, we’ve lost sight of the marvelous pictures God paints in sexual union.  To many, the typology of how people mate seems impure or sinful. Rather than viewing our exquisite sexual parts as the wondrous creations they are, we hide them in shame.

Furthermore, the act of making love with all the sensations and ultimate satisfaction it brings, is the single greatest picture God gives us of our union with Him.  This is what YHWH’s overshadowing of the virgin Mary demonstrates: God in us.  Through covering the Virgin, God created Christ, who is the first fruits of His love and the firstborn of many brethren.

Sensuality, far from being something that we do in the dark, is supposed to be the ultimate freedom.  In the Garden, God made our bodies to delight in each others touch as we united with Him during passion.  Even today, women’s bellies flip-flop during high praise, because their spirits are uniting with God as He intended.  They become wet with the dew of heaven as their secret places respond to the penetrating presence of the Most High.

Through lust is a spirit, true love is THE SPIRIT

Lust, which Christians rightly avoid, is the desire to have sex without the consent of the Holy Spirit.  It is base, senseless, and crude.  Lust wants what it wants without care for another and is devoid of love.  Lustful behavior is what the media pushes  off on the world as eroticism.  However, the sexuality the devil tries to sell us is a cheap knock off of the real thing.

The Holy Spirit created love, pairing it with sex as the ultimate expression of His will in heaven and earth.  The act of satisfying a divine mate fulfills God Himself.  The same Holy Spirit which guides our hands and body during church services,  guides us while love-making.  Anointed, Spirit led sex is out of this world. This is why people describe good sex as heaven on earth.  In fact, God desires to be so present during the act of marriage that, if you yield, there is little difference between you and God in that sacred moment.

The tree of life

Some women, during climax, speak in other tongues.  To many this is appears sacrilegious.  Mixing God with carnal pleasures is anathema to many.  The fact is speaking in other tongues during intercourse is highly appropriate.  Sex is worship.  Allowing God to manifest through our bodies is no different, except in degree, from speaking as the Spirit gives the utterance.  The ultimate expression of worship is loving as His Spirit moves in and through us.  Therefore, to speak mysteries when we procreate is exactly the thing to do.  I suggest you try it.

When a woman takes her lover deep inside, if her mate is God-given, she is accepting God too.  She not only yields her body to his member, but she yields her soul and spirit to her heavenly lover at the same time.  Thus, whatever position she takes, it gives praise and worship to God in him.  YHWH, through her mate also fills her to overflowing as she praises Him.  Instead of being sinful, screaming “Oh my God” during climax is probably the closest thing to pure worship we experience here on earth.

The Rod that Budded

We do not create life, God does.  In and of ourselves, all we can do is make more flesh.  This is what animals do and, if that is all we did, it would not be remarkable.  However, because we are temples of the Holy Spirit, we unite with Him during orgasm and create eternal souls and spirits.  The miracle is not primarily that we can create a baby together, but that we create someone who will live forever.  It takes an immortal God uniting with us to create an eternal spirit.

When a man enters a woman, he fills her perfectly every time.  This is because she swells to cover him in the most intimate way possible.  Her lips become a perfect seal around His rod that budded and together they convey his seed that enters her holy of holies.  There, in the secret place of the Most High, the miracle of life happens and God creates, from His Shekinah glory, a seraph.

Seraphim are what earthly mothers represent

The reason why so many people are having erotic experiences with God these days is because they are part of the Bride of Christ.  We are living in the day that the rod that budded typifies.  God is taking us and making us His.  As He enters us we feel Him in ways we never imagined possible.  Our heart beats faster, our breath labors, our bodies radiate with joy unspeakable, and we cum with Him.  This is essentially what is happening during high praise in churches services worldwide.  The only thing missing now, is actual intimacy between the members of the Body of Christ.

Natural minded men and women, who are not led by the Holy Spirit, prevent us from allowing God to love through us.  Filled with lust themselves, they cannot imagine a scenario where people can love each other intimately without sinning.  Thus, to them, a holy kiss is dangerous and though biblical, must be avoided.   In a twisted way, they are against the very reason God made us.

Let the rod that budded bring forth after His kind

The dividing line between those who become the Bride of Christ and those who follow the Beast is the acceptance or rejection of Divine Intimacy.   While not everything in God is sexual, the leadership of the church, by and large, exclude anything that remotely looks like actual love.  This is a huge mistake and keeps our Lord from meeting the emotional and physical needs of His people.

Sinners will be sinners.  Rules and regulations do not prevent lawless people from being lawless.  Until we are pure in heart, we will never be pure in action.  Thus, those who seek to follow the Spirit cannot let others’ fear prevent them from enjoying God in each other.   We must trust YHWH as a woman trusts her lover, allowing Him enter our midst with joy and do as He pleases.  A holy kiss is just that, holy and a kiss.  Anything we do at the leading of God is holy and pure no matter what it looks like to the natural man.
