Run Home…

Run HomeGod is love and they that dwell in Him must also dwell in love (1 John 4:16). What this means is that we need to fall in love with God just as much as He has fallen in Love with us.

Falling in love with God is different from the way we fall in love with each other. The kind of love that I’m talking about is the one described in these verses,

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

1 Corinthians chapter 13: 4,6-8

We need to have an intimacy with God that far exceeds the intimacy with fellow people. That’s the kind of love that Jesus is asking of us today. A love so intense and intimate that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

(Romans 8:38-39).

My prayer for you is that you may fall totally in love with God. It is up to us to respond to His love. To do this, everything else that we hold dear must pale into insignificance when we come face to face with the love of God

God gave us Jesus, His Son, out of love for us. Jesus went through all His trials out of love for us. God had to turn His back on His Son for Jesus to die out of love for us. Jesus stuck it out to the very end because he wanted YOU in His family.

He could have walked away at any time. Satan tempted Him the same as (more than) you and I, but He stuck it out to the very end BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU. When Jesus Christ died, He was thinking about you, thousands of years before you even got here.

There are times in our life where we feel like we’re not worthy of God’s love. You feel like you’ve sinned way too many times to be forgiven. You think that there’s no way God can ever forgive you, that He couldn’t possibly love someone who has sinned so much.

So you begin to run…

What you don’t realize, though, is that you’re running in the wrong direction. You’re trying to run away from all the things you’ve said and done when Your sins have already been forgiven. With Jesus there is no condemnation or shame…only grace, mercy, love and FREEDOM. God will never turn you away. He will only welcome you back home with Love and Grace

So start running the other way…

Run home…

God promises,

“There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ”

Romans 8:1

“In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and He answered by setting me free”

Psalm 118: 5

“…He is the God who avenges me who sets me from my enemies”

2 Samuel 22: 47 – 49

I long to feel you….I know you’re calling me

Let me hear Your voice…..I need to hear You

Open my heart Lord….I need to hear Your voice

Let us know You are there….I need You

I need an everlasting Love

You brought me near You…

When we are close I feel You,

Yet I’m still afraid to tell You all that I’ve done

I am so tired of defending what I’ve become

Forgive me

Show me Your ways

I want to be closer to You

I want to know You more

Help me to trust You more

Help me to be free Lord

I hear You say,

My love is over,

its underneath, its inside, its in-between..

Renew the Passion Lord

I am worthy of God’s Love

Gods love is unconditional, unlimited and complete

The times your broken, the time you mend,

My love is over,

its underneath, its inside, its in-between….

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2: 4-10

When your healing, and your heart breaks, when you feel you’ve fallen from Grace

A vessel of God’s Love

My Love is over,

its underneath, its inside, its in-between…

“Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD, that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”

Psalm 83:18

There is Peace with You Lord

“Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”

Romans 5:1

A Peace beyond all understanding

I’ll never leave you in the darkest times

I’ll always be with you

“My God turns darkness into Light”

Psalm 18:28

“I’ll never leave you nor forsake you”

Hebrews 13: 5

“Worship the Lord in the Splendor of holiness; Tremble before Him, all the earth”

Psalm 96: 9

“I will praise you, oh Lord, with my whole heart. I will shew forth all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You. I will sing praise to Your name, oh You Most High”

Psalm 9: 1-2

Jesus died for freedom, in Christ you are free. There is no condemnation or shame…only grace, mercy, love and FREEDOM. God will never turn you away. He will only welcome you back home with Love and Grace
