An Introduction to Spirit-Led Relationships
I have considered writing about Spirit led relationships for a while. Specifically, relationships between men and women that lead to marriage. There are many who do not understand why God created us and what our purpose ultimately is. Therefore, there is confusion about intimacy and what is right or wrong to do between a man or woman of God.
Are my sexual feelings sinful?
When it comes to dating the opposite sex, many people are not sure how to proceed without sinning. Both have desires, needs, wants; however, what is proper? Most Christian sources offer only natural minded thinking. Unfortunately, natural reasoning is just another name for the knowledge of good. However, God says,
“but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
Genesis 2:27
The first love of Eden flows through our relationships
The point of these articles is to show an “Edenic” perspective on our spiritual/physical relationships. Honestly, to please God we must begin to function as He intended. As we journey back to the Garden of Eden everything in our lives must be reset to our pre-fallen state. For many, seeing beyond the fall, back to where we began, is challenging at best.
The role of sex between men and women is shrouded in shame. We are fearful of our sensual nature. Some see procreation as an animalistic impulse rather than a divine mandate. However, what most people don’t realize is that 95% of intimacy is spiritual. Furthermore, most are unaware that God made sexual expression for Himself and wants you to express your desires for His pleasure.
Rated “M” for mature
In conclusion, my discussions are frank and to the point. This section is for mature men and women of God who desire to know the truth about Spirit led relationships. Spirit led relationships are meant for those who hunger and thirst to know God as He originally intended.
God bless,
Michael
Dear Connections,
Here are the lyrics for “Garden of Eden ” by Heather Small
Lyrics
The pace is fast and the stakes are high
The game of life, yes we play this all the time
Don`t take for granted all we had
Maybe we have come too far
Maybe a time for less, not more
I dare you to dance in the rain
And watch the sun rise today
Higher and higher in a rainbow sky
All the stars at night
Everybody sing
Nearer and nearer to the heart of everything
Once a voice unheard, now I hear every word
Of the days and nights we spent in the Garden of Eden
We start the race so full of hope
And then we find we`ve lost all sense of soul
Are we past the point of no return
We live a life of want, not need
Let`s live a life of pride, not greed
I dare you to dance in the rain
And watch the sun rise today
Higher and higher in a rainbow sky
All the stars at night
Everybody sing
Nearer and nearer to the heart of everything
Once a voice unheard, now I hear every word
Of the days and nights we spent in the Garden of Eden
In the Garden of Eden
Higher and higher in a rainbow sky
All the stars at night
Everybody sing
Nearer and nearer to the heart of everything
Higher and higher in a rainbow sky
All the stars at night
Everybody sing
Nearer and nearer to the heart of everything
Once a voice unheard, now I hear every word
Of the days and nights we spent in the Garden of Eden
Take me higher
Bring me nearer
Take me higher
Bring me nearer and nearer
Take me higher
Bring me nearer
Take me higher
Bring me nearer
To the Garden
The Garden of Eden
Dear Connections,
How do you describe a place few have ever been before? That is the problem I face when I try to tell others of Edenic love. So few have been beyond the veil of fig leaves that there is literally little in their experience to compare such love too.
Everything that we know, everything that we think, everything that our natural minds consider to be true is literally 180 degrees opposite of what God is. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but it is true. I am as shocked as anyone due to the fact that I am seeing it from the other side for what it is.
When God started me on this journey back to the garden, I thought it was more of a theological understanding, a clarity of doctrine, but as I have advance along this path I know now that it is an experiential understanding of what truly is. My perspective is one of being in the garden of Eden and seeing how far we have fallen. To tell the truth, it is much further than any of us have imagined.
The reason God made us and this creation is bound up in His desire to procreate. This is why our Father made procreation the center piece of every living thing. God reproduces “after His kind” through bringing forth children out of the union of man and woman and Himself. Most people believe that procreation is simply a biological process that takes place in the absence of the Spirit, however, nothing could be further from the truth.
God, in fact, is essential to bringing forth an eternal spirit. Without the Holy Spirit being present and participating in the union of man and woman, the spirit of a child cannot be created. It is this joining of God and man that produces God’s offspring and it is the reason that God choose to impregnate Mary. Mary was a demonstration of the prefect union of God and man.
Christ, the joining of God and man represents what God wants to happen with all children that are born in this creation and in the next. We are supposed to be united with God from birth, our spirits formed from the miracle of creation in Him. In fact, it was always supposed to be so from the very beginning. Climax, during coitis, is not just a natural byproduct of making love, but rather a spiritual experience of God manifest in us during that moment of divine union with Him.
It is difficult to speak such things because of the bias against all forms of Godly intimacy within the Body of Christ. The Church has been corrupted by legalism to reject almost every demonstration of affection that God wishes to use to love His people. We are taught to look towards heaven when God indwells the saint next to us in the pew. Stubbornly, we refuse to allow God to love us through one another because we have taught that intimacy with one another, except under very restrictive circumstances, is sin. This type of thinking has come about because natural men and women have tried to figure out something is primarily spiritual in nature.
The church, by and large, is Antichrist. It is the first line of defense of Satan’s army against the very elect. It is not that the church is openly against Christ, but rather that it substitutes itself instead of Christ while pretending to follow Him. This is why doctrine is so important to many leaders within Christendom. They must control how people think even if it means persuading them to disobey the Holy Spirit. Their kingdoms are built upon substituting themselves for Jesus in the lives of those that they pastor. They seek to make people in their own image and likeness rather than allowing and aiding God to make His people one with Him.
Again, these words may seem harsh to say about people who seemingly “give their lives” to the gospel, but such is the nature of “Strong Delusion”. As I said before everything is 180 degrees out of alignment with who God is and what God wants. When God want to love us through each other, the church says that we must remain separate from each other to avoid the “appearance of” evil. If that was true, then God would never have impregnated a young virgin betrothed to another man. That fact is our heavenly lover does what He wants, when He wants, with whom He wants because He is sovereign.
In conclusion, intimacy, like the Sabbath, was created by God for Himself and He is Lord over it. Let us not deny our God His just affection from us, in us, and through us. It is a time of love and we are to open ourselves fully to our Lover and give Him everything He desires. The baptism of the Holy Spirit was just “foreplay” and now it is time to receive Him fully into us, allowing Him to fill every part of us. Amen.
Michael
All I can say is amen yes LORD
