As I read about people being baptized, delivered from demons, and Spirit filled, its like witnessing Adam coming back to the garden. Likewise, as you look at the faces of those who receive the Holy Spirit it is as if they have come home.
We lost the Spirit when we chose to sin
Adam and Even lost the Spirit of God when they chose to sin. What they experienced was the same thing that Jesus experienced when he cried out,
” And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Matthew 27:46
We receive the Spirit when we choose to believe
Adam and Eve, like Jesus, had never been without the presence of God their whole lives. God’s sudden removal from their souls shattered them. Man without the Holy Spirit resulted in continual evil. On the other hand, man with the Spirit results in continual conformity to God’s will. When people receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit you can see them relax as the Spirit of God fills them. It is a home coming and wonderful to behold.
God gives you power to perform street evangelism
This is Spirit led street evangelism. If you wish to be an effective witness of your Lord, watch and learn what He is doing. To be a witness for God is not difficult if you, by faith, simply do what He says. Desire to serve God is 9/10ths of the equation. It is about yielding to Him and ceasing from your own works.
