realms

There is the Bible you hold, then there is the

Rhema from which it was taken

The reality of the Spirit is quite different from what natural minded people imagine.  Many have grasped that there are other “dimensions” and have even come up with the term “multiverse”, however these ideas only faintly approximate the truth of Heaven.

The number seven is of special significance in the scriptures.  There are seven days of creation, seven days in a week, and even the Seven Spirits of God.  In fact, seven is woven into the very fabric of our existence.

When you see a rainbow, there are seven distinct colors. Yet, in reality, there are colors both above and below the visible spectrum, but we do not have the ability to see them. Likewise, there are seven realms of the Spirit that we can know, yet there are many more that we are not equipped to see or experience.

Green is the color of this realm, therefore it is the middle color of the rainbow.  In heaven, there is a rainbow above God’s throne too and it is all green. Green is the color of Eden, grace, and life.

“And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”

Revelation 4:3

God says,

“And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”

Revelation 4:5

The seven spirits, the burning ones which stand before the throne of God, are YHWH’s Seraphim.  These heavenly beings are, for lack of a more accurate way to describe them, the wives of the Most High.  These Spirits are the the equivalent of female to God’s male.   Each Seraph is a covering Cherub over a separate and distinct creation/realm of God.  These realms are the “many mansions” that Christ refers to in the gospels. They are the worlds or “eons” in Hebrews 1:2.

Seven Realms

Though we do not know how many realms there are, we can safely say there are at least seven.  These realms exist in the greater heaven in which God dwells.  Our natural minds cannot know much about these other dominions, because we lack the fundamental ability to perceive them.  You can only know them through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

Here on earth, in this cosmos, we understand what God creates, because we have a body that is suitable to navigate it.  In order to interact with any of God’s other creations we have to be given the ability to do so too.

Paul says,

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

1 Corrinthians 15: 51-53

When God makes all things new, we must receive glorified bodies in order to interface with the New Heavens and New Earth.  Only the perfect can inherit perfection.

We only know in part

When you read about the chariot of God in the book of Ezekiel, the living creatures have four faces.  The truth is, these creatures don’t really look like this, it is just that we lack the ability to see them as they actual are.  The description that Ezekiel gives is simply as close as our minds can comprehend.  Furthermore, Seraphs are so different from what this natural realm can perceive, God does not even show us their faces.  Besides, as the wives of the Most High, they are protected, hidden away in the mount of the congregation..

The reason that much of the imagery of the Bible makes little sense to us, is that we lack the necessary perspective to understand it.  The scriptures speak of truths which are unimaginably vast and we have so little understanding of them.  Everything that God speaks is absolutely true, but in ways we cannot yet fully comprehend.  The ascetics and mystics of the past tried to relay what they had seen, but you cannot explain these things, you have to experience them for yourself.

Our natural minds cannot comprehend the things of God’s Spirit

Natural minded ministers have erred in demanding that we all adhere to the limits of their understanding.  Clergy lock down and restrict what the Bible says until they strip it of much of its majesty.  Many Christians are essentially trying to lead a supernatural life through the knowledge of good and evil.  This is the reason that the church appears so dead.

In conclusion,  we can trust our Heavenly Father to lead and guide us by His Spirit.  We do not need to fear revelation and measure it by centuries old dogma.  Even the first century Apostles looked through a glass darkly.  Therefore, let us all free ourselves from the notion that we must follow the teachings of others to be safe.  Listen to God for yourself and let Him lead and guide you personally. Amen.
