Here is a truth,
“The reason for the rapture of the saints, is that when the Holy Spirit leaves the earth, those who are one with Him leave also”
Paul says,
“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”
2 Thessalonians 2:6-8
In the church age, this scripture speaks about the restraining force of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God, who dwells in those filled with His love, restrains the evil that men would do. In this age of Strong Delusion, there is still good in the world. However, when God decides to remove His Holy Spirit, that force for good leaves just as Jesus left his disciples on the Mount of Olives.
The reason for the rapture
The Spirit that indwelt Christ at the river Jordan, left from the mount of olives and Jesus left with Him. During that time the Holy Spirit was not present. However, about 10 days later, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came again, but this time fell upon 120 souls in the upper room. Since then, the Spirit of God in His disciples has restrained evil ever since.
Fallen Lucifer is the spirit of Antichrist. In order for the Antichrist spirit to fully manifest in the son of perdition, the Holy Spirit cannot be present. After the rapture of the saints, then is that man of sin revealed.
All aboard!
Therefore, when God leaves this earth before the beast is revealed, those filled with His Spirit leave also. God raptures us just as Jesus was received into a cloud. This cloud is the same cloud that always manifest around the Shekina glory.
In conclusion, the rapture is simply a byproduct of God leaving this earth. After the Spirit of the Most High vacates this world, just as it did in Eden after the fall, all who are godly in Christ Jesus go with Him to be where He is; the heavens and the new earth.
