Thy Word Holds Me Close And Lights My Path
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Thy word, “What is thy word?”
God’s word is anything sent out from Him in any form, received in any way.
This can be in written form as you have it presented in the Scriptures.
This can also be in written form as it is given through the Rhema Word, both of which are Holy Spirit driven.
Thy word can also be something God does to intercept you in your life, to help direct it or even save it.
This could be words written in a newspaper, something someone speaks which has perfect timing. It could be the person whom stopped you to speak to you which, if they had not, you could have come in the path of a vehicle.
I am suggesting that God’s word is more than audible words. It is anything that has come from God, which becomes a creation in your life, enriching it in some form.
All of creation came into being by being spoken. In essence, the root and foundations of all things have God’s word interwoven into them like DNA. Whether that becomes a written word, object, person, place, or action.
God’s word is anything of the senses: Anything, smelt, seen, tasted, touched and heard.
This lights your path and holds you close to our Father. Where there is light, love, direction from God, His Spirit is present. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. I believe we are all capable of recognizing Him, because it is intentioned by God, therefore our spirit responds to and recognizes His Spirit.
