the Holy Spirit

“The Holy Spirit is simply our Father God who is a Spirit and who is Holy.”

David says,

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me”

Psalm 51:11

and,

“But they rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against”

Isaiah 63:10

Furthermore,

“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Ephesians 4:30

and,

“He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his Holy Spirit.”

1 Thessalonians 4:8

Even though Peter walked with Jesus as a disciple for years, when he said “thou art the Christ, the son of the living God”  Jesus said, “…flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee. but my Father which is in heaven.”   Why is this so?  It is so because the true identity of our Lord and Savior could only be known through revelation.  Likewise, the true identity of the Holy Spirit, though rather obvious, must also be revealed to us by our Father which is in Heaven.

Understanding the nature of God comes through experiencing Him

As we come to understand who the Holy Spirit is, it also helps us to understand the scriptures better.  In fact, without knowing the author of the book personally, it is impossible to fully understand what He wrote. Moreover, having God infilled through the gift of His Spirit, is what truly allows you so see His light. Lets us all open our hearts and minds to receive whatever our Father wishes to show us so that we might worship Him in spirit and in truth.
