God’s love conquers all
If you watch the news today, it seems that the world is going to hell in a handbasket. Almost everything everyone shouts from the rooftops is negative, a bomb shell, and we are heading for destruction. It’s just fear, fear, fear, and hardly anyone has anything good to say about anything.
However, while that may be true for those who don’t yet know Christ, it is not true for us. Our future is bright, our destiny in Him is sure, our arc in the coming years is overwhelmingly positive, and we will overcome by the word of our testimony and by the blood of the Lamb.
If the Bible shows us anything, it is that with God we can overcome anything. Even natural laws and physical constraints don’t stop us. Take this miracle for instance,
“On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon,
and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”
So the sun stood still,
and the moon stopped,
till the nation avenged itself on its enemies,
as it is written in the Book of Jashar.”
Joshua 10:12,13 (NIV)
So, while Joshua was doing God’s will and destroying the enemies of Israel, he needed some more daylight and, by the Spirit, commanded the sun to stand still and it did, for a full 24 hours.
Nothing is impossible – nothing
The truth is, when you are doing God’s will and have faith, nothing is impossible for you. If God caused the sun to stand still in the sky for 24 hours, the antichrist is no big deal. We don’t win because we are strong enough, we win because the God we serve is. All we do is speak and declare those things that are necessary for us to do His will, then God does the heavy lifting.
The people that want to reshape this planet into the image and likeness of Satan have already lost for they have chosen to do battle with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is the deity who spoke the heavens and earth in to existence, brought on the flood, confused the languages at Babel, caused the sun to stand still and the shadow on the sundial to go backwards. You don’t mess with Him, nor his people, because we are winners – because with God you always win.
All the planning, all the fear mongering, all the money, all the cruel force that those who serve Satan believe they have on their side is failing against God and His people. It is we who, in that generation will deal a death blow to the antichrist system and bring it to its knees, not through force, but through God’s love. Spiritual connection is the most potent force this creation has ever known. What started with Jesus will be finished by us: The fully matured and Spirit filled, Body of Christ.
The only thing that matters is God’s voice
Some tell me that it is not time, some tell me that they do not know, others tell me that they have to pay attention to their natural circumstances. I totally disagree and I reject such thinking. The only thing that matters is God’s voice and doing His will when He says to do it, with whomever He says to do it with. Nothing else is relevant, nothing else is meaningful, nothing else has eternal value. We live by faith and not by sight. We do the impossible because Jesus is our example and all things were possible with Him – He even rose from the dead.
Do not tell me that we must obey the fashion of this world and fear what may come because of natural forces – you and I serve a God who speaks to seas and they divides for His people to walk over on dry land. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible with God, and all I or anyone else has to do is believe and do what He says for total victory to be assured.
Finally, the antichrist and all those who serve him have picked a fight that they can’t win. We will be victorious, and we will stand in white on that last great day, and our God will be all in all.
