womb

Eve, The New Thing Of This Creation

The defining characteristic of a woman is that she has a womb. This means that she can conceive, carry, and birth an eternal life.  My question to you as a woman of God is, “what will you do with your womb?”

Most women consider their womb their personal property.  Many believe they have a right to choose whether or not to conceive by using birth control. Some even believe they can even choose whether or not to keep a baby they are carrying. Simply put, modern women think that how they use their womb is up to them. However, is what you do with your womb really up to you?

Have you ever considered why God created you with a womb in the first place? What was our Father’s original intent for making you a woman?  How is that miracle of design inside you intended to fit within God’s greater scheme of things?

I would suggest that God gave you a womb, not for you do with it as you please, but rather to give it to Him to do as He pleases.  After all, if you are Christian and you have given your life to Christ, he should possess all of you, right?

I submit to you, that God wishes for you to bring forth life according to His plan. Moreover, our Lord has foreordained that you conceive, carry, and bring forth children that He desires for His kingdom.

Hannah makes a promise

God recounts,

And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man-child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.”

1st Samuel 1:11

Hannah, the first of two wives, was without child. In anguish of soul she prayed and asked God to give her a child. Hannah promised that if God would open her womb, that she would give that child to serve the Lord all the days of his life. That child became the prophet Samuel.

I believe that God blessed Hannah and opened her womb because she decided that her offspring would serve the Lord.  Hannah also had other children after Samuel too.  Likewise, I believe that this is how God wants all women to view the purpose of the children they conceive in their wombs.

It matters whom you wed

Whom you decide to mate with is so important, it isn’t something you can do without God’s clear leading. Be directed by the Holy Spirit how to use your womb. If you are truly a Christian who follows Christ, your womb is God’s to do with as He pleases.  The seed that you allow to join with your ovum must be the one that the Holy Spirit decides upon and not something done by your self-will.

For most, this level of submission and/or obedience seems too deep, almost fanatical. However, I believe that the submission of your womb to the will of the Spirit is exactly what God is looking for in believing women. You carry within your body the means to bring forth an eternal soul that will never die no matter where it ends up for eternity. Could anything else be more important than that in your life? Whom you choose to birth and nurture during your lifetime has such far-reaching effects, it cannot be left up to random chance or the natural man to decide.

Take care not to deviate from God’s plan

Many women are allowing themselves to marry and procreate with men that God has not and WOULD NOT choose for them.  When we mate out of the will of the Spirit we deviate from the plan of God.  When we stray from God’s plan in such a fundamental way, it creates dissonance in our lives and our children’s lives that ripples throughout our generations for hundreds of years. Whereas, if we behave like Hannah, and ask God to fill our wombs with children of His desire, dedicated to His purposes, the positive effect of those offspring ripple throughout eternity too.

The real power of a woman

Much is made about women’s power and their rights in today’s societies.  If one listens to the popular media, a woman’s womb and her ability to bear children is more of a hindrance to her self-realization than a blessing.  However, that attitude is antichrist and against what God designed for you to be and do. Being a mother and birthing children according to our Father’s will is your highest and best service to God. Nothing else you can possibly do here on earth will have such far-reaching effects.

What will you do with your womb?

In conclusion, what will you do with your womb?  Will you willingly give it to God for His service? Will you take your responsibility to bring forth children according to His will seriously?  Do you take seriously your privilege to help populate this world and God’s New Creation with His kind?  This choice is yours and it is an important one.  I pray you choose well.
