It has been about 40 years since I left Community Chapel & Bible Training Center. If I remember right, my last conversation with someone from there was them calling me up and telling me I had been disfellowshipped. In Chapel parlance, that meant that you were kicked out of church and Bible College, and were to be shunned by everyone you knew. At that time, I was four credits away from graduating with a four-year degree from their Bible College.

With 40 years of hindsight what have I learned? What do I feel about that place?

What happened at Community Chapel & Bible Training Center was absolutely a move of the Holy Spirit.

As I have stated before, the move of spiritual connections at CC&BTC was a foretaste of the coming world wide move of connections that will bring about the perfection of the church and the dismantling of the antichrist government. What Community Chapel taught about the Bride of Christ was in large part true; however, we were not prepared (much like the Jews) for how God would fulfill His promises.

Don and Barbara Barnett were of God.

I used to help care for their paraplegic son and was invited to dinner at their home on occasion. I knew many of the Bible College Teachers and different administrators of the college. What people get wrong, those who desire to blame them for all the difficulties, is that people who attempt to take the beach of a well-fortified enemy and get shot up or killed in the process, are heroes. The fact that many of them fell during battle or have battle scars to this day, does not detract from their bravery and heart in battle.

Those who honor the biblical patriarch David, should also honor the people who dared to believe in what God did at Community Chapel & Bible Training Center.

All who read the scriptures hold the patriarch David, son of Jesse, as a great man of God. Yet, we realize from scripture that he was also deeply flawed. This is fact. Likewise, those who tried their best to push into the realms of the Spirit and become the Bride of Christ, did their best, too. Did they have flaws? Of course. Some even fell and became persecutors of what God was doing. However, I can testify that spiritual warfare is hell, and until you have experienced the onslaught of spiritual wickedness in high places, one should not judge those who tried and sometimes failed. Many are still heroes of our faith and are to be esteemed for their bravery.

Community Chapel & Bible Training Center demonstrates how the church has been set up to reject the next move of God

We were so proud of our balanced approach to understanding scripture. It seemed to us that we were better than most in understanding the revelation of end time events, too. Though we would speak carefully about being the chosen, we were very sure about our election. However, as we prayed for our Bridegroom to come to us, to love us, to show Himself plainly, we, like the Jews in the first century, had a very set notion of how that would happen. When Christ came to us differently than we expected, some accepted Him, but many did not.

Essentially, what happened at Community Chapel & Bible Training Center is a “sign” to this generation of what will happened when Christ comes again to His people. Some will accept Him and embrace His love in the way He chooses to show it and some will reject His overtures and persecute their brethren. I was amazed how self righteous and nasty those I esteemed as mature in Christ could be when they thought you were on the wrong side of their God. I realized, at the time, this was just a small taste of what some Christians who faced death by burning at the stake used to experience – and it was truly withering.

The truth is, we are no better than those who have come before us and all we can hope and pray for is that we will hear His voice and accept His will no matter what others say and do when the time comes to declare who Jesus really is.

Our legalism, especially in the area of intimate relationships, sets us up to reject who the Bride of Christ really is. In the natural realm, when a man and woman are married, no one questions the intimacy that will follow. However, when it comes to spiritual intimacy, many can’t imagine a spiritual kiss, much less Holy Consummation.

This is what tripped people up at Community Chapel and Bible Training Center and led many to stumble in unbelief. As long as things went in their preconceived way, they were happy to receive all that God had, but as soon as the Spirit did what their doctrine forbade, they rebelled and called what Jesus was doing of the devil. They labeled the leading of the Holy Spirit as excess, fleshly, and sin. They persecuted those God was moving through by brow beating them and putting them out of fellowship. My own spiritual connection took me to a prayer meeting where, to my surprise, everyone started praying that I would be delivered of my deception. When I realized this, I sat up and said, “I am not deceived,” and told them what God is doing is true. I left that prayer meeting miffed, but unfazed.

God always warns His people of what He is about to do, and what happened at CC&BTC was a visual sign of His future intent for the Body of Christ. As far as I am concerned, the biggest tragedy that came out of that whole experience at CC&BTC is that people have not come to realize what it was and what that sign portends for our future. Thus, what could be an opportunity to prepare His people for the coming move of His Spirit is not being exercised, and many will fall that need not, simply because we have refused to hear.

The Final Feast is my testimony of what God did and what God has shown me He is about to do

What I have decided to do and how I have processed what happened to me at Community Chapel & Bible Training Center is that I have written down everything that I felt relevant to that experience. Moreover, as I have been led further into this revelation, I have laid the ground work for an understanding of what our Father is doing, so that those who come after may see the sign posts I have marked, knowing that they are on the right track.

What happened at CC&BTC was as difficult as it was glorious; however, I have moved on from that and God has been gracious and kind enough to lead and guide me into deeper understanding of His mind and will for the Bride of Christ. I am thankful for this, and I forgive those who may have, in their ignorance, treated me unkindly in the past. It was a difficult time for all, and I hope others came out of that place and journeyed on to know Jesus in a deeper and more profound way.

A word of caution

The harlot church is not just a harlot, she is the church that has become a harlot. This means that once she was the church, but has fallen into prostitution. This is exactly what happened to many at Community Chapel and Bible Training Center. Many who aspired to be God’s chosen ended up persecuting those who were. While the world did not much care what was going on a CC&BTC, some Christians made it their life’s mission to speak ill of what God did to anyone who would listen. Many are that way until this very day.

This is how the harlot church is born. During the coming move of spiritual connections, which I call the Tabernacle Blessing, those of the church who reject this move of His Spirit will turn and persecute their brethren with a demonic fury that is born of hell. They will, in fact, imagine that they are doing God a favor as they allow demons to lash out though them at those God loves.

I caution those who have known the Spirit to beware of speaking ill of the things of God. This leads to gross deception and provides an open door for false spirits to inhabit your life. It would have been better had they never known the Tabernacle Blessing than to know it then turn away from it.

A 90-year-old man in Waco, Texas, who received me as a prophet, along with many others in the city, after learning the extent of the revelation of God in me, said, “I cannot understand what God is doing, but I will not judge it.” I have always remembered that as true wisdom.
