His Spirit Wants What His Spirit Wants
The Holy Spirit wants what the Holy Spirit wants, and it is simply best to get out of the way and let Him express His desire. We, as humankind, are the Bride of Christ, the female to God’s male. Therefore, He leads, we follow. It is as simple as that.
In this dance of life, whatever way our Lord wishes to go, we simply allow Him to lead and guide us. As with the passionate dance of the tango, we allow ourselves to be led by His will, guided by his hand, and become a complement to whatever move He makes. When we do this, our dance with God becomes beautiful, often times sensual, and a marvel of willing submission, which produces a fluid harmony and stunning beauty. In fact, the angels wish to understand and emulate this.
Let Him Lead
It matters not what God wishes to do, how He desires to move, all that matters is that we yield to Him when He leads us. As we do that, ours lives become a picture of whatever is in His heart, and we become a demonstration of His will, manifest in our flesh, for everyone to see and, frankly, marvel at.
All of us have things we want to do or, perhaps, things we feel we should do. However, let our mindset be that if God moves differently, at any time, in any way, we are happy and more than willing to change our direction, rearrange our schedule, or do something completely opposite of what we had planned. In reality, the absolute best thing we can do on any given day, at any given moment, is yield to His Holy Spirit, just as the female tango dancer does with her partner by allowing Him to express His mood, desires, and will through us. It is our purpose and all we really must be doing.
