God says,
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”
1 John 2:18 (King James Version)
Or, in another translation, we read,
“Dear children, this world’s last hour has come. You have heard about the Antichrist who is coming—the one who is against Christ—and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the end of the world is near.”
1 John 2:18 (Living Bible)
Antichrist means “Instead of Christ.” Therefore, the antichrist is not the opposite of Jesus, but someone whom the world substitutes for Christ. A different savior, a new and inclusive path to eternal life. Like John Lennon’s song, “Imagine,” presents a different, earthly vision of paradise, digital assistants can become an “instead of” Holy Spirit in many peoples lives.
Here is a truth,
The antichrist is offered to the world by Satan as a substitute Christ. SIRI and other such digital assistants are being offered to the world as a substitute “Holy Spirit.”
We were designed by God to live by revelation. That is, when we did not know something or needed wisdom, we would ask our Father and then trust what He says. However, when Adam and Eve decided to partake of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, we chose to go by our natural minds and trust in what we could understand rather than what we received through the Holy Spirit. Today, a further manifestation of that fatal choice is the emergence of intelligent assistants, such as SIRI, that we ask counsel of when we need to know things or figure out how to proceed in life.
Essentially, humanity is being trained to seek guidance from machines that embody the tree of knowledge. This is eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil on steroids.
Consider when you ask SIRI about the weather. You want to know if it will rain or be sunny, cold or hot, windy or calm. However, our Father knows this, and if we would ask Him, He would tell us. Moreover, perhaps God has something that He desires for you to do in His kingdom with another that requires you to be a certain place even if the weather is not pleasant. If we would rely upon our Father and trust His voice on what to do, regardless of what the weather would be, perhaps He would tell us to go even in bad weather. If God knew it would rain, he would tell us to bring a rain jacket. If it were going to be cold, dress warmly and carry a sweater. The point is, like Philip, we would would be in position when a modern day Ethiopian eunuch passes by who needs illumination in the scriptures.
Don’t ask SIRI
The knowledge of good kills just as effectively as the knowledge of evil. Only living by revelation ends up in salvation. If you listen to and become dependent upon the likes of SIRI, you will not be used to asking God first and depending upon His voice.
The antichrist is a reality that will happen just as God foretells in the scriptures. However, it is STRONG DELUSION, not just some minor error in judgment that leads the people of this world to follow him. If we come to depend on artificial intelligence to make our decisions, when the time comes that we must instead hear the voice of our Heavenly Father to survive, out of habit we will not do so.
Don’t ask SIRI the meaning of life, for a machine programmed by godless men will not provide an answer that will save your eternal soul. Rather, ask God about His son, Jesus Christ, and listen to what He says about the way to eternal salvation. Cling to God’s voice and the tree of life. Run from SIRI and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Amen.
Dear Connections,
I cannot over emphasize the magnitude of the deception we are all currently in. It is Strong Delusion. I only realize this, because the Holy Spirit helps me to see though it thought I am mostly blind. He tells me what actually is and, though it often seems unbelievable, I trust His voice and know that He tells me the truth.
Likewise, God will speak to you individually and tell you what you need to know too. The voice of God is personal, intimate, and gentle. He knows your situation, your temperament, and your capacities. While a multitude of counselors is good in certain situations, it is always best to ask our Father what He thinks and they simply trust what He says and do whatever He asks, when He asks you to do it.
Blessings,
Michael
Michael,
Very appropriate, considering the times!
Guess God kinda covered me on this with my ill temperament, as I have found myself getting angry at the machines. Started about the time they started asking me the questions!
The interet is a great tool, the ultimate in unregulated encyclopedias, but that’s about it. Sad that people ask a machine what the meaning of human life is.
Love,
Steve Borg
Dear Steven,
Great comment. I appreciate it. Seems like we are being herded towards machine dependency when we need to have Holy Spirit dependency!
Big hugs and lots of love,
Michael
