Strong Meat of the Word, Challenges our preconceptions
There are many sacred cows in Christianity, doctrines that are so sacrosanct that they cannot be examined in any way. These dogmas compose the bedrock of what many consider normative Christianity. However, if these teachings, like medieval Catholic practices are wrong, many are being harmed and kept from a true knowledge of God. Therefore, when we examine these basic tenants of our faith, we risk being labeled as heretics by people of the status quo.
Re-examine fundamental tenants
Be that as it may, if we really want to know God personally, we must ask questions. We must let the Holy Spirit lead and guide us into all truth.
In these essays I examine many different fundamental tenants of Christianity. I allow God to help us to look at some believes from a new and expanded perspective. In the end, we all want to know our Lord in Spirit and in Truth, therefore, we strive to be teachable and open minded.
In invite you to read these essays with such an open mind and see if these things be true. Allow God to speak to your hearts and minds. Nothing is above question. In the end, all that matters is our relationship with our Lord Jesus.
