Do You Worship God or an Idol?

Here is a question:

Do you worship the one true God whom you serve, or do you worship an idol that you have created in your own mind, which does your bidding?

To my understanding, it is my reasonable service to do what God, i.e. Jesus, asks me to do. After all, it is through His sacrifice on the cross and His shed blood I am saved. Furthermore, it is also reasonable for me to accept Jesus however He desires to reveal Himself to me. While I understand that my Father is a loving God, He is also the one I worship and obey simply because He is who He is. Therefore, I cannot and should not demand He be anything other than what He actually is.

He is my master and I am His servant.

What I have noticed, though, is that some people say that God would never do this, that God could never do that, and must conform to what they want Him to be even contrary to what He has stated and shown Himself to be through His actions throughout history. I would submit that individuals and even church groups who demand God conform to their demands do not worship God in actuality, but rather have created a modern-day image of what they want Him to be.

The difference is that when you recognize God for who He really is, He is pleased and responds to you personally. However, when you worship a false conception of your idea of who you want God to be, it does not respond to you at all.

Doctrine is not God. Man’s conception of God through learning about Him, even in the scriptures, is at best a natural-minded approximation of who He is. We can only ever really know God through personal contact and experience with Him in the Spirit through our spirits. Even at that, we will be ever learning and coming to know Him throughout eternity.

Here is a truth,

The image of the beast, which is the antichrist, is an idol who fits the world’s conception of who god is because it will be the god they agree with and who seemingly does what they want and what they see as best. The antichrist does not force people to believe in him, he just fits precisely the idolatry that they have already created in their hearts.

The way to fight against this deception (which is currently very strong in the world) is to practice allowing God to be who He truly is in your life on a daily basis. When your Lord reveals something to you that goes against your presuppositions, search the scriptures to see if that is true, opening your heart to be willing to be taught – by His Holy Spirit.

I went to Bible College and attended a church that believed they knew the “whole truth.” It took me years and a lot of willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit into unlearning some of what I was taught when God showed me differently.

I remember one day walking down a dirt road when Jesus spoke to me these words,

“I am not coming back until the end of the millennium.”

As I walked, I wasn’t thinking about end time events at all, but He just spoke that to my spirit out of the blue. I could have dismissed it simply because I already had been taught differently. However, because I knew my Father’s voice, I listened and considered His words. That one revelation started to clarify a lot of misunderstanding I had about Israel, the millennium, and end time eschatology in general. The fact is, had His Holy Spirit not spoken that to me, I might never have considered those things and remained in confusion until this day.

Personally, I want to know God as He truly is and not just as I want Him to be. I don’t want to worship an idol of my own creation that does just what I want, but I want to know a personal God whom I can build an everlasting relationship with in truth. Therefore, I trust that my Father is a good God who wants the best for me and thus, I want to know Him as He truly is so that I can be as close to Him as possible – always.

Amen

Mystery Babylon

What’s Wrong With This Picture?

Women need to be protected from evil through submission to Godly husbands. If you don’t believe this, then I suggest you consider what I am about to say.

God decreed,

“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

Genesis. 3:16

To every woman that reads this post, I assert that God’s word cannot be broken. Eve did eat of the forbidden fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and she was put under a curse. In this curse our Father said she would be ruled over by her husband.

Just like the ground was cursed for Adam’s sake, because of his disobedience, Eve was placed under the authority of her husband because she had proven that she was vulnerable to deception. God did this for her protection so that she would not be deceived again and bring about further harm to herself or mankind.

What I have just written is generally not accepted in the world today. Even in Christian circles women balk at the notion that their husbands should “rule” over them. In fact, even though many say that they do acknowledge their husband’s headship, in practice, it is more like they “allow” him to make decisions they agree with. If not, they emotionally “pull rank” and bully their husbands until they get their way – which is usually not of God. For example, we see Sarah’s suggestion to Abraham playing out in the Middle East presently.

If you, as a woman, try to rule your family you will fail miserably. Not because you are not as intelligent, industrious, or capable as a man, but because God said, “he shall rule over thee.” Therefore, no matter what you do in the natural world to challenge what God has already said about your position, you – will – fail.

Feminism is a lie

Feminism is a lie, and it is not of God. Women power is a myth perpetuated by people who refuse to submit to their Creator. Females are not like men, because God did not make them men – they are womb-men i.e. women. In fact, when they try to be like men they become second rate, incongruous wannabes that look as ridiculous as the woman dressed in the suit above.

When a woman tries to be a man and usurp his authority–especially if He is a godly man–she despises the very Creator she professes to believe in. When she disrespects and tries to bully her husband, she is, in effect, trying to do the same thing to her Savior. In fact, if she does this, her Christian testimony suffers greatly, and the blessing of God is not upon her due to her words and actions.

Currently, women seem to have the upper hand when it comes to who is favored by society. Women can say and accuse men of almost anything and they are automatically believed, at least at first, while men are often automatically assumed to be at fault. Even if the man later is proven to be innocent and the one wronged, often there are little or no consequences for the woman who accused him falsely. This is wrong, and it is sign of our times. What is it a sign of?

The Harlot Church

“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:  And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.”

Revelation 17:3-5

The woman who sits upon the seven-headed dragon is Mystery Babylon. Some say it is the Harlot Church. However, what is clear is that, symbolically, a female rides and thus dominates the world system, which is the last Beast of Revelation – Satan. When women, Christian or otherwise, yield to a spirit that dominates and controls their men, they open themselves up to this age-old antichrist spirit. They, in essence, align themselves with all that is not of God and will, if they allow this spirit to control them, end up hurting their husbands and God’s people.

I believe that many underestimate the power and subtlety of this evil spirit to affect women. Unfortunately, most Christian women believe that they are strong in God and would never allow themselves to be controlled or influenced by such a demonic force. In essence, they make the same mistake Eve did in the garden and will reap similar consequences.

To my sisters in Christ I say this:

“Though there is little in our present-day culture in the way of consequence for tearing down Godly men, I caution you not to do it. God is not mocked, and you will reap what you sow, both in this world and the world to come.”

Not only that, but you will also damage your children and bring about trouble in God’s kingdom through harming the very men He desires to manifest Himself through.

Frankly, I am tired of trying to understand and forgive women who do not submit to the Holy Spirit through their men. I am weary of the mantra of “men are the problem.” No, Eve was the original problem and that is why God put her under her husband to rule over her. That – is – fact.

Another fact is that women were created to help their men and not to be a burden or impediment. Doing God’s will in this world is difficult enough without having to deal with demonic speech and actions coming through your spouse.

If you despise, criticize and disrespect your husband daily, you are not being Christlike and should not call yourself a Godly woman. Remember, a well cannot give forth water that is both bitter and sweet at the same time. It is one or the other. Yes, if you have difficult days when you make mistakes that is okay and very forgivable, but if you become a conduit for the devil to have at your husband and tear him down at every opportunity, the spirit you manifest is not of Christ.

Let’s focus on what is important

Honestly, what are we actually trying to accomplish in Him? Are our Father’s desires and goals our own, or are we so focused upon our own problems that we have no time for what He wants? The magnitude of the destruction that is taking place through women stepping out of place in God’s kingdom is widespread and terrible. Men’s attention is being diverted because of their women’s emotional outbursts, when they should be working in the harvest fields at the end of this age and gathering souls to our Lord’s kingdom.

Lastly, the only reason that women are able to get away with behaving so disrespectfully in our society is because, like ancient Rome, we are wealthy and decadent. However, this is about to change, and they will shortly come face to face with the reality that they actually need Godly men to be their head, covering and protection.

A word to the wise is sufficient.

Sincerely,

Michael

This is the spirit of Mystery Babylon and it is a Lie – Don’t Fall For It.
