We serve a God of variety
Many of us fear the supernatural. When things happen to us that are out of the ordinary, we sometimes become very nervous. Naturally, we ask, “is what I am feeling of God?”
There is an error that is propagated in many sectors of Christianity: Miracles have ceased; now all we need know is the word of God. In other parts of the Body of Christ, they believe in supernatural manifestations of God, but in a very narrowly-defined way. Thus, in either of these two realms, when the Spirit moves in ways that no one (at least in the immediate vicinity) has experienced before, people wonder if it is of God.
The truth is,
“ If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
Luke 11: 11-13
Therefore, if you are a child of God and ask your heavenly Father for more of Him, do you think that he will give you something evil? No. The scriptures says that He gives his children good gifts and that we do not need to fear.
Kaleidoscope of His Spirit
Moreover, just as God created many different types of birds, many shapes, sizes, and colors, God also manifests Himself to us in varied ways. As God expresses Himself to us and through us, He does not have a limited palette from which to paint. Though a rainbow could be one color, He creates a spectrum which is beautiful. Likewise, as God loves us enough to reveal Himself in us through His Holy Spirit, the manifestations are a beautiful kaleidoscope, too.
If you meet the God who created the heavens and the earth, it is going to be profound. In the scriptures, more than once people fell down even before angels as though they were dead. They had to be revived in order to even hear the words a messenger delivered. How much more is your experience with God going to shake your world?
A secret to spiritual manifestations is:
Don’t fight God’s Spirit, Simply Yield To Him
When the Spirit of God comes upon you, simply let Him have His way. Mostly, people feel uncomfortable when they resist what is happening and become scared. Fear is not of God and will make you want to shut down and back away from what the Holy Spirit is doing, halfway through it. This is one of those situations where it is better to be either hot or cold, and not in the middle. Realize that God created you and He is fully aware of how much you can take. Just trust Him and commit everything you are to Him, even if it feels different.
Fly away with Jesus
When you begin talking to people about spiritual experiences, and they trust you enough to open up, you learn that God is a God of variety. Though many experience the Holy Spirit, it is often different from person to person. Some seem common while others seem bizarre. However, it is the same Spirit that works in all of them.
When you elevate with God, desiring to know Him, and His Spirit falls upon you, resist the urge to question Him. Simply let Him have His way with you. After all, you are a vessel, so open up and be filled. If you overflow, let rivers of living water splash on those around you. You were made to house God’s Spirit and it is a return to your pre-fallen state to do so.
Do not fear what others say who have not met God as you have. They cannot know, because they do not know. Do not let their fear keep you from the One whom you love and deeply desire to connect with. If you want to be where God is, experiencing Him on a daily basis, you must go and be with Him. We do not get to choose where He is, we just want to be fortunate enough to be there with Him.

We have not even begun to imagine the things that God has in store for us as He pours out His Divine Love upon the world. Do not fear the very thing you have been asking for. God with us is God in us. When God is in you, things will never be the same.
