We are walking in days of increased grace. The onslaught of demonic forces affects everyone, and many act unreasonably under their influence, saying and doing hurtful things that make no sense at all.
However, instead of taking offense, allow God’s grace to flow through you and answer and act with kindness, realizing that without the demonic influence that oppresses their minds, they wouldn’t act that way.
God says,
“When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind…”
Mark 5,15 (NIV)
When facing demons that speak and act through others, it is best to allow Jesus to speak through you, for only He knows what’s really going on. It’s safe to say the demoniac who lived in the tombs of Gerasenes didn’t want to be that way. However, he was bound by evil spirits that were stronger than his ability to resist them. Until Jesus came, neither he nor anyone else around him, could break the hold that Satan had on his life. Though people had to avoid him, the truth is that he was a victim of malevolent forces that tormented his soul and made him act in terrible ways.
In these final days that lead up to the revealing of the Antichrist, many demons will come upon people and they will, unfortunately, be afflicted like that man among the tombs at Gerasenes. We may not be able to do anything about it, but through us, Jesus can.
Jesus says,
“As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.”
Mark 5: 18-20
Therefore, let us all have grace toward one another, realizing that everyone is dealing with their own demons. If we have the strength to allow Jesus to speak and act through us, perhaps by speaking kindly and acting with love, as He leads us, we, too, to will see great deliverances that will amaze people and lead many to salvation.
