Asleep In The Light

Are You Asleep In The Light?

Jesus says,

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for ourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

Matthew 25:1-13

Many of the topics I write about are controversial. The truths I present often times go beyond the established doctrine of many churches. It is not for love of controversy I write but rather, as a watchman on the wall, I warn those who have ears to hear.

God says,

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”

Ephesians 4:15,16

The reason that I tackle difficult topics is that I see what is coming and I know that we are running out of time to mature the Body of Christ.  People are generally unaware of what is really going on.  We are blind to what is happening because we look after the natural instead of hearing the spiritual.

Be “no more children” and start to eat the meat of God’s word, growing strong and true.  Understand the deep things of YHWH so the delusion does not damn your soul.

God says,

“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.”

Revelation 12:4

The tail of the beast

A third of the stars of heaven simply did not see it coming.  While they were looking at the teeth of the Beast, his tail knocked them off their feet.  What is taking place now is unexpected and coming from a direction that most do not see.

Many ministers hesitate to speak what God says for fear they will lose their flocks.  However, not delivering what God speaks is virtually guaranteeing that they, along with many in their flocks, fall prey to strong delusion.  In the wilderness I am beholden to no man, therefore I speak exactly what God says to me without concern over what others think or say.  God uses this liberty to speak revelation through me that others may shy away from.

Speaking in other tongues is not optional

It hit me so hard the other day that those who do not accept the Holy Spirit (with the evidence of speaking in other tongues) are in grave danger of accepting the Antichrist. While, in days past, people could reject speaking in other tongues and still be saved that time of grace is closed.  The Holy Spirit is the oil that Christ speaks of in the parable of the Ten Virgins.  If you will not allow God to come in, fill you, and speak through you with the sign of glossolalia  (tongues), you will simply not be able to survive in the coming darkness.  You, like most of the pharisees, will miss the time of your visitation.

Jesus warned his disciples that a night is coming where no man can work.  In our day, this night is much closer than people realize. This darkness is not a lack of physical light but a spiritual darkness brought on by a lack of the presence of God.  A pitch black darkness of soul that blinds the eyes of those who refuse to see.  It is the sort of darkness that fell upon the world when Christ gave up the ghost.  The darkness at Christ’s death was the absence of God Himself.  A spiritual darkness so utterly complete that it actually extinguished physical light.

God shuts the door

Imagine, seven days before the first drop of rain fell, God Himself shut the  Ark.  At that time it was all over but the deluge.  Nothing changed for seven days.  God shut a door no man could open, sealing the fate of all mankind.

However, God has opened a door to us that no man can shut.  I speak because I care about God’s truth and about those who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to this generation.  Prepare to face the coming night so that you are able to go into the bridegroom when called.   It is not like the five foolish virgins did not want to go… they simply couldn’t.

Buy oil while you still can

In conclusion, it is time to go deep in God and stock up on the Holy Spirit. We cannot afford to be asleep.  We must speak the truth in love while it is yet easy to do so.  It may seem dramatic to say this, but I guarantee you that anything I write does not begin to describe the true extent of what is happening.

To some foolish virgins Jesus says, “Verily I say unto you, I know you not” and will not open to them.

Jesus says,

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Matthew 7:21-23

Many Ministers are full of pride

It is a sobering thought that Jesus may think that some who claim to be ministers may be asleep.  I’m speaking to you if my words upset you. Put away what you think you know and submit your mind and thus your heart to the Holy Spirit.  Pride is literally going to hand you over the second death if you do not humble yourself and wake up.  I am like the friend of the bridegroom who woke sleeping virgins from their slumber.  However, for some, being unprepared, it is too late.  Lacking oil of the Holy Spirit in your life, at this late hour, is not just inconvenient, but it can be fatal.  I do not know exactly what hour it is, however it is later than we think.  A word to wise virgins is sufficient.

Into The Light

Revelation in Blue

God says,

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Gen 1:1

Where the presence of God is there is illumination.   Therefore, the hallmark of true revival is revelation.  This is because when we experience revival, the presence of God illuminates our minds and thus greater understanding of His word results.  Here is a truth,

“new understanding may proceed experience but experience nearly always results in new understanding.”

Revelation is not an intellectual but a visceral process.  Revelation is like being in a dark room when, all of a sudden, someone flips on the light switch and you instantly see what is there.  It is not something you do but rather something you experience.  When we are in the presence of God darkness vanishes and we truly see.  This is why true visitations of God always result in fresh understanding.  It is written,

“And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”

2 King 6:17

People nowadays are so busy defending what they believe they are hardly open to any form of further revelation.  Fear of the unknown is an indicator that they do not know or trust their Father fully yet.  When we really know Him it is obvious that He loves us enough and is powerful enough to protect us from any deception.

I have experienced salvation, Holy Spirit baptism, and, along with others,  am entering into the experience of Tabernacles.  At each stage of my Christian walk, I have through experience, come to know God to a greater depth and that has been what has brought about illumination in His word.  Here is a truth,

“Christianity is an experiential faith and not just an intellectual exercise.”

Paul states,

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

2 Timothy 1:12

I personally believe that many Christians are being “taught to death” by those who have little current revelation in God.  These teachers know their doctrine but they do not really understand the Person whom they speak about.  Many leaders have little new to share because they have not been with God in any significant way lately. Moreover, they are so busy defending where they have been that they often refuse to go where God is.  When they teach about God they speak about things others have received decades or even centuries ago.  Just like manna in the wilderness, while their revelation was once sweet and nourishing, now that has been kept too long it is no longer fit for human consumption.

Manna symbolized daily dependence on God.  Once you gathered it you were supposed to consume it that day for it could not be stored for tomorrow (except on the Sabbath.)  Jesus prayed “give us this day our daily bread”  because we need fresh manna every day.  Centuries-old revelation, while it was the best things going at that time, is not necessarily what God is doing today.

It is time to go beyond the milk of the word

I do not despise doctrinal truth. However, I do not want to be continually taught that two plus two equals four when I am in high school.  Likewise, Salvation and Holy Spirit baptism are wonderful and enduring truths but that is not what God is wanting to emphasis to His general body at this stage in our history.

When God was bringing back the understanding of salvation by faith that was the new thing for the day and God was emphasizing that part of His truth.  Martin Luther was a necessary step for the greater body of Christ to take on its path to the perfect man of Ephesians.  God, however, did not want His people to stop at that restored truth but desired them to journey onward to Holy Spirit baptism.  God has now left off emphasizing Holy Spirit baptism and is moving towards the Tabernacles experiences of “oneness” with Him.   We need to be Tabernacling with God and with one another in preparation for the last great day of that feast, i.e. the New Heavens and New Earth.

In conclusion,

“Fresh revelation indicates a fresh experience of God.”

God says,

“For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:””

Acts 2: 15-17

If people are not speaking new truths that are fresh insights into the word of God they may not be experiencing God to the degree necessary to nourish God’s flock.  If they want to preach and teach the milk of the word they should save those types of messages for new believers who need instruction in the fundamentals.  If those who teach us continually deny us strong meat, how can we grow into the fullness and stature of Christ?

Revelation that excites our spirits

Finally, if you want to know where God is, look for a revelation that is new, true, and excites your spirit.  Seek fresh insight into His word and seek out those who excitedly tell you about places in God that you have never been to or perhaps never even thought possible.  If you hunger after righteousness, know that where your Father truly is there is always something fresh and nourishing for your spirit to feast upon.
