A Revelation Of The New Heavens and New Earth

Earth

There is a New Heavens and New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness

I want to talk with you about the revelation that God has given me concerning the New Heavens and New Earth. This truth is meant to be an encouragement to those who are working hard for the kingdom of God. Surely Jesus is coming, and His reward is with Him.

God says,

“That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.”

Isaiah 65:16-18

And also Peter says,

“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

2 Peter 3:13

And finally in the book Revelation John sees:

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

Revelation 21:1

Do you know where your going?

Many Christians, if you ask them where they are going after they die will say, “I’m going to Heaven”. To them heaven means they will be with our Father in the realm in which He dwells. However, according to the scriptures the eternal home of those who are saved is the New Heavens and the New Earth. The New Heavens and the New Earth is a second creation that God speaks into existence for those who know salvation. Consider this scripture about the Bride of Christ in the book of Revelation,

“And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

Revelation 21:2

The Bride of Christ

Furthermore, the Bride is made up of New and Old Testament believers; for the apostle Paul states that we are collectively a chaste virgin espoused (or betrothed) to Christ:

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

2 Corinthians 11:2

Therefore, we, the called out ones, come down out of heaven into the New Heavens and New Earth. We change location. While we will be in heaven for a time and will probably have access to that realm as needed, it is not our permanent dwelling place.

The revelation of the New Heavens and New Earth brings everything into focus

Many major doctrines begin to make more sense when we realize the central role that The New Heavens and New Earth play in God’s plan. For instance, through Adam’s transgression, sin entered the world and the whole of creation was cursed and made imperfect.

Paul says,

“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

Romans 8:21,22

I believe that the curse brought on by Adam was a universal judgment. As punishment for man’s antediluvian sin, God our celestial future by wreaking havoc among the stars. This is why astronomers observe such vast chaos in many corners of the cosmos.

Behold,  God makes all things new

Moreover, once something is imperfect it cannot be made perfect again. This creation is essentially damaged beyond repair. Therefore, once YHWH harvests the souls of those who believe in His son Jesus Christ, He completely destroys it.

 Peter says,

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

1 Peter 3:10

People often refuse to believe that God would destroy this creation in favor of another one. However, someone who has limitless resources doesn’t refurbish an old item to give as a wedding present to His bride.

This is also why God speaks of us as a new creature,

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

It is essential that we become a new creature in him so that we can dwell in the New Creation with him. In the New Heavens and New Earth, nothing from the old Creation can exist. All that is of this creation is burnt up; even the souls of them that refuse to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Jesus says,

“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:”

Mark 9:43

Furthermore, the New Heavens and New Earth is the very reason for the resurrection.

Paul therefore states,

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Corinthians 15:50-54

Our bodies made perfect in Him

Christ resurrects our bodies and we are made immortal. Have you ever wondered why God would go to the trouble of performing this miracle? It is simple; just as we need bodies to interact with this present creation, we also need bodies to interact with the New Creation. Our bodies have to be made new and perfect because they will need to function in a new and perfect creation. Our immortal bodies will be like those we would have had if Adam had never fallen.

Finally, God always gets His way. Though the Devil tempted Adam and Eve to sin bringing forth corruption in this present Heavens and Earth, God simply picks up where He left off in completely New Creation. Essentially, God is going to perform a hard reset. Our Father is about to translate those, who through faith believe in His only begotten Son, into a new paradise in the world to come. The tree of life that He withheld from us will be freely given to all those who believe in Jesus.

Jesus declares,

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

Revelation 2:7

And also in the book of Revelation,

“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Revelation 22:2,14

The joy set before us

My friends, this is the joy that is set before us: to be wed to Jesus and live eternally in the presence of God as revealed through our bridegroom. As it is written,

“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof”

Revelation 21:23

Lastly, YHWH promises,

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

Truly, there is nothing on this present earth, whose fashion is passing away, that is worth jeopardizing our chances of making the New Heavens and New Earth our eternal home.

Neither Married Nor Given in Marriage Part 1

married

God says,

“Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.  And Jesus answering said unto them, the children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:”

Luke 20:33-35

Many interpret these scriptures to mean that physical relationships between men and women will be done away with in heaven.  Perhaps this notion stems from some who hold the concept that intimate expression is fundamentally sinful.  However, I wish to present another possible interpretation of these verses for your consideration.

The old things pass away

As I prayed about these scriptures, the Lord spoke to my heart saying “men and women are neither married nor given in marriage simply because in “that World” earthly marriage no longer applies”.

However, the commandment to procreate is eternal.  In fact, before mankind partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil the first commandment God gave to them was to be fruitful and multiply.  This means that before sin tainted anything, God’s original plan was for men and women to have children through physical union.  Therefore, in the restoration of all things, God restores the commandment to be fruitful and multiply too.

Different place, different customs

In this creation we marry and are given in marriage according to what seems best to us.  In some cultures we wed for love and in other cultures we submit to arranged marriages.  Marriages are earthly contracts.  Christ states that in heaven the pharisees logical paradox does not apply, because there is no marriage.

This may seem academic to many, but I assure you there are very real consequences for Tabernacle Christians.  Few realize that the next creation, through a foretaste of the Holy Spirit, is currently overlapping this present creation. That is, what is normal for the New Heavens and New Earth, is becoming normal for Tabernacle saints in this creation.

Tasting of the powers of the world to come

As people allow God to completely overtake them, dominating their every thought and action, they also taste of the powers of the world to come.  In fact, those who are fully possessed of His Spirit, begin to act as though they are living in the New Creation.  Therefore, abilities and experiences,  which are common place in God’s new creation, manifest in the here and now. The supernatural laws that exist in the New Heavens and New Earth operate through us, by faith.

This is why the gifts of the Spirit, all of which are impossible according to the laws of physics, work in this present age.  God’s gifts function now through a small advance of what we receive in full as we are born again into the world to come.  In that place, God’s eternal kingdom, His Holy Spirit permeates everything.  There, by faith, nothing is impossible. Christians perform supernatural acts in this world,  because they are no  longer bound by this creations natural laws.   God’s Bride manifests the laws of another universe through the earnest of our inheritance.

Where miracles are normal

As Christians walk in the Spirit we experience a foretaste of the supernatural laws of the New Creation. Therefore, whereas it is impossible to walk on water in this world it is possible to do so in the next.  Even though normal people cannot lay hands the sick and speak healing into their bodies, we can do so now in Jesus name.  This is why Philip could translate after baptizing the Ethiopian Eunuch.  This is the reason why Jesus walked through walls.  Everything people view as supernatural in this world is simply “the way things are” in God’s everlasting Kingdom.

God joined Adam and Eve

Shame prevents us from understanding intimacy and what it means to love each other as God intended.  Perfection, like infinity, is a concept that our natural minds can’t grasp.  Divine love, as God intended it to be, faded from the human memory. From friendship to procreation, we enjoy but a fraction of what God said was very good. However, common people glimpsed what true love is meant to be as Christ walked the Earth.  God is love, therefore Christ is love, therefore Christ’s body becomes love.

The first love of Eden

As people move into The Final Feast, they experience the first love of Eden once again.  Yielding totally to His Spirit, we love according to social norms of another world.  Here is a truth,

“God neither marries or gives people in marriage in the New Heavens and New Earth.  This is so because marriage was never created by God in the first place.”

Earthly marriage is an old wine skin which must be replaced by something new that can contain “joy unspeakable”.  I don’t know what the expression of such love will be, but earthly love does not begin to describe it.  We continue to love each other, but the Holy Spirit resets the rules to Eden’s first love. How this will actually play out in our present world is anyone’s guess.  The first century church began stepping into The Tabernacle Experience during love feasts.

The things of this earth become strangely dim

As Tabernacle Christians, social conventions fade, replaced by Spirit led interactions.  Earthly contracts diminish as spiritual unions form and take precedence. Tabernacle saints break with present conventions while assuming customs of the world to come.

In conclusion, Spirit led liberty is the norm of the New Heavens and New Earth.  There, we live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.  We judge nothing according to our natural minds but simply, by faith, obey what our Father says.  Tabernacle Christians may seem out-of-order, but only to those who are opposed to God.  As we walk in heavenly places, those who are led by the Spirit become the express image of God.
