You Are Not Far From The Tabernacle Blessing
Are You Looking For A City That Is Built Without Hands?
Jesus says,
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17: 20,21
Many people are preparing to receive the Tabernacle Blessing without even knowing it. They feel drawn to certain members of God’s flock, yet hang back because they are not sure what is proper. During their lives, they have felt crushes on certain love interests that never seem to pan out. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, believers have felt a strong goading to call a friend or relative they haven’t spoken to in a long time. All these things, and many more, mean you are not far from the Tabernacle Blessing.
As Christ says, the kingdom of God is within you, but how is that so?
Jesus also says,
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
John 14:16-18
Therefore, the kingdom of God is the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Being filled with God is what brings His kingdom of heaven to earth. As we are filled with His Spirit we naturally do the things of YHWH, performing His will on earth as it is in heaven.
God is a Spirit, those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth
Natural minded men and women tend to assume that the kingdom of God is evidenced by buildings and ministries. Physical, tangible assets attest, in their minds, to a moving of the Holy Spirit in their midsts. However, God does not dwell in buildings made with hands, but in the hearts of His people who faithfully serve and obey Him.
The Tabernacle Blessing is God manifest in our flesh. God completes the work of His Spirit where, not only is your tongue given over to His will, but your whole body, soul, and spirit. Essentially, you become possessed by God (in a very good way) and He lives His life through you, just as He did through Jesus Christ.
It’s time to get horizontal
All that needs happen is to understand that God is not vertical but horizontal from us. Instead of lifting our hands, look into the eyes of another saint and “connect” with the Holy Spirit in them. Allowing God to join us spiritually with another is not a random event, but a specific Spirit led act. God unites and knits His body together through joining us one to another as He sees fit. Thus, the finished Body of Christ is made whole, every joint supplying what the other needs.
It is man-made barriers that are preventing the church from uniting with each other in Divine Love. We often feel led to love another by talking with them, putting our arm around them, or showing them some kind of affection. However, because of the rules and regulations of a fearful and unbelieving clergy, we are afraid to show the kind of love our Father wants. Thus much of the needs of Christ’s church go unmet and believers lack the fellowship they so desperately desire.
You are not far from the Tabernacle Blessing
The truth is, you’re not far from the Tabernacle Blessing, it’s as close as the person sitting next to you. God manifest in the flesh is as near as the brother or sister you meet on the street. Yield to the goading of the Holy Spirit and speak or do whatever He says when He says to do it, and you will meet God in another human being of His choosing.
This really does seem like the time when the Spirit of God is leading so many into understanding in a deeper way the blessing of loving each other and ministering to each other as His hands and feet.
This is good: “Sometimes, in the middle of the night, believers have felt a strong goading to call a friend or relative they haven’t spoken to in a long time. All these things, an many more, mean you are not far from the Tabernacle Blessing.”
We so often ignore those goadings, when it is God using us to be sensitive to the needs of others in His body.
My prayer is that many will follow where God is leading them in this.
Thanks for sharing your insight!
Big hugs
Dear CL,
Yes, us having the liberty to follow the Holy Spirit is what is important in our day and age. The opposite of liberty is tyranny and many of God’s people are suffering under others who pretend to mediate between God and them. I pray we will all listen, hear, and obey on time what God is speaking to us personally.
God bless and lots of love,
Michael
