You Always Have a Choice

Before The Dawn Of Time God Desired To Be With Us

Since the dawn of time, God has never stopped speaking and seeking relationship with His children.  Even when time is no more, God will still have a relationship with you. Relationship wasn’t born with time, but was on God’s heart before time. Thus God’s desire towards you as an individual person, existed before time.

Time is a result of sin, therefore God is not restricted to it. God exists throughout all time, before time and beyond time; all in the blink of an eye, at the same time.

We pray and worship God outside of time

I believe our spirit when praying/worshiping/communing with God, does so in a place outside of time.  Moreover, the Body of Christ unites in a place or location that’s effectively beyond time.  This is how we unite, wherever we are on the globe, and connect spiritually with one another.  Prayer between two members of the Body of Christ can take place on either side of the world, yet in that moment they’re so united as if sitting in the same room.

So talk to your Father in heaven, listen to and for His answer, then respond. Take action and follow Him so that, in essence, you listen, hear and obey on time.

God says,

“By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.”

Exodus 13:21

God also says,

“By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.”

Psalm 42:8

The reality is, God does not go anywhere, because He is already everywhere.  We move like the earth, revolving around God as He stays steady. Therefore, since God is omnipresent, He will never leave nor forsake you because He’s always beside you.

What really stops us from obeying His voice?

So what stops us from talking and listening and following in His footsteps?  Truthfully, because God is always with us, we are the ones who take our eyes off of Him.  We are the ones who stray from His presence and are the ones who stop walking with God.

Our Father is before you, besides you, behind you, underneath you, above you, and if you let Him, even in you. All of creation testifies of God’s presence because He permeates it all.  For example, many years ago there was a fire in my home.  As I was out and about one day, a bird unexpectedly died right in front of me.  Though it was just a bird, I felt a very great foreboding of danger which led me to rush home.

My house was on fire

When I arrived home, my house was on fire with my husband and young son inside.  Thankfully, they both got out in time.  Unfortunately, we lost all our possessions, except for the clothes on our backs. However, I am reminded that ‘although all may be destroyed and fall down around you, you will be left standing’ and by the Grace of God that day, we were.

We may have built walls or barriers, thinking it is keeping God out, protecting us from having to ‘deal’ with whatever, when in fact it is doing the opposite … its keeping God in. Only when the wall is removed, do you see what is already within you.

No wall can keep God out

You can build walls that keep God out … how many times have you heard that phrase? I have even spoke it myself. But you know, on pondering this I do not think it is quite a true reflection. I think it is more the former … you build walls that trap God inside your heart. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit, your heart is the hub of God in you. So these walls you build, keep you away from your secret place with God, so you have inadvertently trapped yourself out with the enemy. I have to recognize I have done this.

On top of this, God isn’t able to reach out or shine out to others through you the same, if at all, simply because of these walls. You can’t see God in you, start thinking He has abandoned you, when in fact like Jesus on the waves with Peter, He never went anywhere, it was only Peter who couldn’t see. Blessed are those that believe and yet do not see. The downward spiral begins and the door opens for apathy and all sorts to waltz right on in … let the lies of satan begin in deceiving you, trying to keep you from turning to God.

Our Father’s tenderness heals us

When you recognize that a wall needs taking down, our Father’s tenderness heals us, right to the root, to the foundation and cornerstone of that, replacing it with full healing. His Love is a complete salve to your life.

Imagine what all the Temples on the earth look like to God looking down on the globe? Are we the network of God’s Light and Love around the globe, so God’s Love and Light can connect all around the globe like neurons, so God’s Love will conquer all? Are we God’s stars on earth for all to see and connect to each other with? (revelation)

Let go and let God

Do we do this with God? Let us not be too stubborn to let go and let God heal, guide, restore, renew and refresh, to still the mind to hear His voice, to have that loving relationship with our Father, to have His parental guidance. We are His sons and daughters, we are worthy of His Love … if you do not feel worthy or not ‘up to the mark’ for God, then this is a lie from Satan to keep you from God. God loves you, and like the story of the Prodigal Son, He is waiting with arms open for you to come running home to Him. Don’t let your song at the end of your life have the lyrics … “I did it My Way”, but rather, “I did it God’s Way!”

What keeps us from letting go of our mountains, and just hopping onto that highway of God’s?

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
