The Ripple Effect Of God’s Divine Love

“The ripple effect of God’s Divine Love radiates out from our hearts to all those around us.  Sometimes we don’t understand the effects we have on others or how deeply God’s love through us moves them.  A kind word, loving touch, or listening ear is often times just what people need.”

Michael King

ripple

I woke this morning to Paul Wilber’s song, “Song of the Beautiful Bride“, playing in my head.  The lyrics went,

“Out of the darkness
Redeemed from the night
Bathed in His glory
Reflecting His light
Oh what a beautiful Bride”

by Paul Wilber

Most mornings, it’s like my spirit reluctantly disengages from a praise and worship session its been enjoying while I’ve been asleep. It’s similar to waking up from a dream which seems so real, yet immediately begins to fade as I wake.

How does God share Divine Love?

Today, Esther said,

“I’ve been thinking about the practicalities and realities of how God propagates the Tabernacle Experience among us.  I mean, what does Divine Love look like in the real, day-to-day world?”

Michael,

“What has God been speaking to you about that?”

Esther,

” Well, my experience with my friend at church is a good example.  I’ve been seeing her  on a one-on-one basis for years now.  In the first three years, all I basically did was build trust and closeness between us.  The world really hit her hard and she trusted no one and nothing in life any more.  Our society had basically failed to help her through the different trauma’s and illnesses she’s suffered.  So, in the beginning at least, all I could do was love her and be a steady friend.

Then about two years ago, after we met and I started to experiencing massive healings and deliverances in my own life, things changed.  As I experienced Tabernacles with her, it was like that same healing balm started to overflow into her life also.  As I felt better, I started to open up little by little to my friend, taking to her about the “Essence” of the Tabernacle Experience.”

God’s healing our spirits

Michael,

“Healing begets healing”

Esther,

“I began sharing small studies her, show different scriptures about Divine Love and intimacy without being overly specific.”

Michael,

“Oooo, I like that term “Essence.  Not Tabernacles theology per se, but the essence of it through your personal experience with God’s Divine Love”.

The Essence of the Tabernacle Experience is

Esther,

“As I did, God arranged it so I started spending even more time with her.   We ate lunch together, the two of us, often having boxed salads and a brew.  As God led, I continued to build relationship with her, sharing what God is doing in my life.  Even though my friend has major trauma issues and related difficulties, she began to open up to me and, I believe,  God’s Spirit in me. “

Esther continued,

“So, I have been thinking that, connections is not a matter of just two people connecting.  Even though there may be one that is primary, I think overall it’s one bigger connection, a ripple effect taking place through many people, passed on like a baton in a relay race.  Except in this race, we pass on our hearts to each other and God’s Divine Love with them”.

Michael,

“Yes, I like the way you put that also.  It is a kind of ripple effect of God’s love passed around through Divine Connection”.

Flowing in God just becomes habit

Esther,

“As God has been moving in my life, there’s this ripple effect of doing whatever He leads me to do, small or large, at the prompting of His Spirit.  Now days,  even if it does not make sense at the time, I just do it.  Now that I feel free others are being freed also.  As I practice “listening, hearing, and obeying on time”; knowing that God can use anyone, anytime, anywhere, my actions issue from my heart and spirit naturally.  Doing anything God says at the time He says to do it, is literally my rule of thumb these days in any situation.

So, with my friend, who is really a shut in, fearing to go anywhere in public, I just asked her to come to church the other day.  She said “yes”. which is an utter miracle.  She really enjoyed the service and, at the end of the music, when the pastor asked if anyone wants jesus in their lives and to commit to him, she raised her hand.  (I know she did because I was peeking!)”.

Michael,

“Wow, and that would not have happened without you being Spirit lead and healed yourself”.

Esther,

“Yes, exactly.  At the end of everything, as we went home, she was so excited to tell her friends about everything that happened.”

Divine Love ripples through our lives

Esther continues,

“The things God needs to do in people’s lives are not necessarily a quick fix.  The essence of the Tabernacle Experience, which is Divine Love with each other, ripples out from us, maintaining its strength and force, into other people’s lives.  It’s like a chain reaction, through spiritual unions, powered by God’s love”.

The ripple effects of God’s Divine Love

Michael,

“I see what you are getting at.  God’s love has the force of a tidal wave, but instead of destruction, it brings refreshing, restoration, and renewal.  It leaves fresh love and hope in its wake, enabling growth and intimacy with Him.  It’s like a spiritual fulfillment of this scripture,

“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

Isaiah 11:9

Esther,

“The effects of our Spiritual Connections spill over from our spirits into other people’s lives.  People respond to God’s Spirit in us, in the way they responded to Jesus.  All this bypasses the natural man and works from the inside out through God’s divine love.  Spirit recognizes Spirit and that is what connects us in Him.”

Life more abundantly

Michael,

“Yes, where the Spirit of God  is, there is liberty and there is life.  I think what is happening to you, is a teaching moment for us on how God wants to share Tabernacles with others.  The things you’ve said brings further clarity to me about how the Holy Spirit propagates the Tabernacles Experience.  I think what happened with your friend is exactly how Divine Love will spread from person to person. You don’t have to go to Timbuktu to do it either, God connects you with people already near you.”

In conclusion, the Spirit teaches us all truth.  Our healing and freedom ripple out from our  Divine Connections with Him in each other, to those who are open to His Holy Spirit.  Moreover, we don’t have to know  through our natural minds what God freely gives us by revelation.  This is how Jesus’s yoke is easy and his burden is light.  All we have to do is allow God to live through us, by faith, and walk in the cool of the day with the lover of our souls.

Amen.

All romantic music, when done right, is at its core, about God and His Bride.  Through some misappropriate that relationship and lavish it upon earthly lovers, in reality, Divine Love is what their really singing about.  When you listen to this song, picture God speaking to those He loves and His Bride responding in kind.

Unfolding Our Spirits

God Dwells in us

Where is God?  That is the basic question we all ask, isn’t it.  People take all types of paths to try to answer this query, but relatively few find their way.  Christians, know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, however, many still struggle to feel His presence.

If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, God dwells in you.  That same Spirit, that raised Christ from the dead, resurrects you in that last day as He shouts your name.  If you are really fortunate, you may even experience the catching away of the saints before the great tribulation.

Body, soul, and spirit

We possess a soul (which is who we are) plus a body and a spirit.  We use our bodies to interface with this creation.  Similarly, to the extent we allow, we use our spirits to interact with the heavenly realm.  Just like we have five senses in the natural world, we also have five senses in the spiritual world.  Some people have eyes to see and ears to hear physically, but are essentially blind and deaf in the spirit.  When scripture talks about having “their eyes opened”, it’s talking about our spiritual eyes being opened.

Open our spiritual eyes

God says,

“And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?  And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.   And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? and he said, Nay.  Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.”

Numbers 22:28-31

And,

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.  And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”

2 Kings 6:16,17

It’s all about bellies

Though our souls are located in our heads, our spirits reside near our reproductive organs.  Essentially, they’re folded into our bellies and only come out occasionally.  We can tell when our spirits are up, because of the light in our eyes.  This not an earthly light, but a spiritual glow about us.  Women usually radiate this type of glow when they are pregnant or in love.  You can see people’s spirits up and out when they worship God.  Some ministers, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, exhibit their spirits during preaching or teaching.  Most of the time, people experience this type of unfolding during love-making. This is why people. saved and unsaved, praise God during climax. I understand this truth offends some Christians, but nevertheless, it is the truth.

The reason that unfolding our spirits is important, is we can only walk in the Spirit through our spirits.  Access to the heavenlies is only possible through using our spirits to interface with that realm.  Just as you can’t see without physical eyes, you can’t see in the Spirit without using your spiritual eyes.  Many Christians don’t understand this truth and so their spirits are only active during the night or by accident.

Unfolding our spirits

The reality is, though, we can consciously allow our Spirits to unfold and become active.  Allowing God’s Spirit to fill us, we blossom, being restored to His image and likeness.

In the presence of our Lord, our spirits naturally react by unfolding and emerge from our bellies.  You can tell a person’s spirit is up by the look in their eyes.  God literally begins revealing Himself through their eyes and their countenance changes.  This is like, to a very small degree, what happened to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration.  As we allow our spirits to take over our body, God reveals Himself through us and we become transfigured.

About this time, some may think, “wow, that sound very mystical“.  In reality, it is not mystical at all, just the way things are in the Spirit.  The only problem is, we are unaccustomed to using our spirits to interact with the heavenlies, so it feels strange.  However, to anyone who interacts with that realm very much, it is quite normal.

Release your spirits to each other

Fear essentially keeps our spirits from unfolding.  We fear showing our true selves to others, because our spirits are very sensitive.  When people wound us spiritually, it cuts extremely deep.  To manifest our spirit, we have to trust.  This is why our spirits tend to manifest during worship or intimacy.  Both these activities flow from extreme vulnerability to God and each other.  At other times, our spirits tend to come out when we least expect it.  Sometimes our true selves manifest during acts of compassion at tragic moments.  At other times we feel at ease with our children. Many times our spirits emerge when we are being “child-like”.

Dreams, during the night and sometimes during the day, are closely associated with our spirits.  These visions happen as our spirits unfold into the heavenly realm.  Unfortunately, not all engagements are positive and thus we sometimes have nightmares.  Though not every dream is from the spiritual realm, the really vivid ones are, both positive and negative.  If a night vision leaves a lasting impression,  you’ve been touched by the spirit. The reason this happens at night is because our natural, conscious minds are not suppressing our spirit when we sleep.

What God made is very good, no matter what the devil does with it

The Devil does his best to degrade what God creates very good.  Christians fear most things in the Spirit because Satan perverts them, claiming them as his own.  Witches exude sensuality as they cast their spells, therefore we fear anything overly intimate during church services.  Churches feel the way to “properly” worship God is with eyes shut and hands in the air.  However, we must go beyond “guilt by demonic association” which keeps us away from our spiritual birth right.

The actual way we should be unfolding our spirits is through God’s Divine Love.  True worship looks more like a mid-summers night dance of flower children, than standing statue like, eyes skyward.  It is not as though our standard way of worshiping is bad, it’s just incomplete and limited.  Actually, Spirit led dancing is a great way to encourage our spirits to unfold and come up.  Praising God with our whole body allows God to inhabit us.

Dare to be vulnerable

The act of writing these blogs is, in fact, an unfolding of my spirit to you.  As I write, God flows through me.  I can only do this because I decide to be vulnerable.  I literally write what I hear in the Spirit, removing my natural mind from the equation.  As I write, my reason often times tries to influence me, but my spirit corrects me.

Thus, the inspiration for these essays is from the Holy Spirit.  To the degree I yield myself to what God says, it is the word of our Lord.  I do not claim inerrancy, for we all know in part and prophesy in part.  However, if you listen with your spirit, you will connect with those things that are of Him.

All things in the spiritual realm work this way. People must become vulnerable in order for the Spirit of God to flow. Christians don’t unfold their spirits when they are guarded, reclusive, and protected.  Protecting your spirit makes it is very difficult to connect with God or each other.

To call the Bride, be the Bride

Spiritually minded believers lead by example.  To call the Bride, be the Bride.  We become the message we speak, else, what we say doesn’t ring true.  I don’t even try to speak to the natural man anymore, because I realize it’s pointless.  I speak directly to your spirits nowadays, because I know deep calls to deep.  God’s sheep hear His voice.

Finally, God calls the Bride.   In all the world, where so many things distract, this is the place where we find rest.  As we love God and allow Him to love us through one another, peace reigns in our hearts.  The things of this life really do grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

When you turn your eyes upon Jesus, look upon your brethren
