In Our Father’s House, There Are Many Mansions

Beloved,

The Golden City, the New Jerusalem, is the eternal home of the Most High.  It is the high, holy place of God Almighty and the temple is its center.  The ancient city, now made new, comes down out of heaven to replenish the New Heavens and New Earth with the sons of God.

We are His temple made without hands, the place God looks to for His rest.  God dwelling in us recreates us back into His image and likeness.  As God’s abode, we are the home where God becomes Himself, living intimately in and through us.

God’s many mansions are His holy habitation

Here is a truth,

“The only thing lacking in this video is for those who sing it to look into each other’s eyes.”

The revelation of Divine Love is, in fact, a revelation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  God is love, therefore as we become His holy habitation, we become love too.  God’s Love, which is pure as the driven snow, flows from us unabated to others as YHWH loves through us.

Houses are where we love and live.  Our homes consist of different areas where we carry on the daily business of life.  At the center of our dwellings is our bedroom where we are naked and unashamed.  Likewise, the house of God consists of many mansions, each having a different and unique function in Him.  These places we live with God are for many purposes, yet they all exist to facilitate His will.

His home is our home

As we are one with God, we have access to everything in Him. His many mansions become our home and His family becomes our family.  From friendship to intimacy, we all flow together as He desires, because He is the King over all.

Perfect unity comes from perfect obedience, yet not through fear, but through love. We desire to be whatever our heavenly lover wishes because we long to please Him in every possible way. Our delight is to find ways to love Him. Our satisfaction is when He is satisfied. To love God in all the many ways available is our constant delight.

A place for everyone

In the court of our King, there is pomp and circumstance befitting His station. In the dining halls of His home, we sup with Him. While in the Holy of Holies, His bedroom, we make love to the Most High in exquisite intimacy. The point is, there is a place for everything to happen in Him.

Likewise, within the Body of Christ, there are many areas too. There are those we connect with on an acquaintance level, sharing the love of the Spirit between us. We worship together and praise His name, sharing our love corporately for our King.

Different places for different uses

There are those whom God connects us with for the work of the ministry. We find unity in our shared purpose to advance His kingdom on earth. We work as one, taking pleasure in unity as we do.

If there are those who are sick among us, either in body or soul, we rush to tend to them in whatever way they need. At that time, we don’t think of ourselves, but only of being the support they need. Be it food, clothing, reassurance, prayer, a hug, or a holy kiss, we do whatever is necessary to heal them.

Spirit led relationships based on love

When God has a desire to mate, we allow Him to choose our lover through His wisdom and foreknowledge. Loving another intimately is not about what we want, but about what pleases our Lord. We give of ourselves freely for His pleasure, knowing that in pleasing Him, He blesses us abundantly. Thus, in fulfilling His will, God fulfills our desires and needs.

As we walk through YHWH’s many mansions, we act accordingly as His Spirit leads. Each and every person becomes what God predestines them to be and none is out-of-order. We, as the Body of Christ, are a picture of this heavenly kingdom on earth, foretelling of that great day in Him. God always speaks very plainly of things He intends to do, and what we are experiencing today, speaks of a future beyond our wildest imaginations. Amen.

Eroticism, Sensuality And Christian Sexuality

Caution:

In this essay, I write about a topic that is considered taboo in Christianity.  If frank discussions of intimacy bother you, please do not continue reading.

We are both embarrassed and fascinated by eroticism.  On one hand, many view sensuality as something to avoid, but on the other hand, we are irresistibly drawn to it.  For most, the only appropriate place to express our sexuality is behind closed-doors in the dark.  Though some feel differently, in the main, the clergy abhors Christian Sexuality.

All things created for His pleasure

God created eroticism and sensuality in order to fulfill His desires.  What most Christians do not realize about their sexuality is that, like everything else, it is created for His pleasure.  While making love we experience joy, excitement, and satisfaction, but only as a consequence of doing His will.  When we have sex outside of God’s will, we experience guilt, shame and emptiness.

The problem with most sexual experiences is that they are usually focused on ourselves. It’s all about our pleasure, our satisfaction, our ego. Moreover, many take what God created very good and use it to commit sin. All sexual sin is, in its may forms, is simply inappropriate use of what God created.

Why did God create us to be so sensual?

Why did God create us full of desire and longing to be united with a Divine Mate?  Many, not knowing God nor His power, reduce sexual expression to simple lust.  Hollywood portrays many sexual acts as mere animal passion, devoid of love or affection.  However, what is God’s true purpose for Christian sexuality?

Question: how does God have children?

Answer: through us

God says,

“I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:  That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.”

Isaiah 45, 5,6

The truth is that God made Christian sexuality so that we would mate with each other and Him. God wants to bring forth after His kind. Since there cannot be another God beside YHWH, our Father manifests His nature through us. As we bear children and they express His image, they become the children of the Most High.

Christian sexuality and why we mate

When we mate, if done properly, YHWH is present.  As we become aroused our bodies prepare for love-making and our spirits prepare to unite with our King during intercourse.  Our spirits, which are located in our reproductive regions, unfold as we become aroused.  When a woman shakes it is often times a reaction to her spirit emerging.  As we touch, caress, and experience pleasure, God manifests in and through us to prepare a place for conception.

Conception is not just a physical act, it is a profound spiritual creation.  While our bodies provide the materials to make another body, only God can create an eternal soul and spirit.  Therefore, the function of eroticism and sensuality during love-making is to prepare the woman and the man to conceive “with God” an eternal soul.  To the extent that we allow God to have His way during this miracle of procreation, our children literally become the children of God.

Sexual sin really messes people up

Viewed from this perspective, it is easy to see why YHWH is against fornication and adultery.  Sexual sin debases and defiles everything God made very good.  Rape, incest, and every other form of sexual abuse is a result of the Devil’s rage.  Lucifer, that fallen wife of the Most High, hates everything about Holy Intimacy and tries to ruin it as much as possible.  Thus, those who follow her conform to her demonic desires to hurt and destroy us in these areas.

God desires to heal you in every area

Instead of running away from our sexuality, why not embrace holy intimacy as God intended?  We cannot deny what God made us to be, nor should we.  What we do need to accomplish is to change our perspective as to what sex is all about.  Once we understand, through God’s Spirit, that sexuality is about holy intimacy and ultimately holy consummation, then we can begin to view our desires from the proper perspective.

As the sons and daughters of God, Christian sexuality honors and pleases Him as we love each other.  When a woman understands that giving her body to her lover worships and pleasures her Creator also, she yeilds herself with confidence and abandon.  A man, who knows that loving his woman with tenderness, affection, and skill is, in fact, loving God above, desires to fulfil his divine role too.

Become the Bride of Christ

In the end, yielding to Holy Intimacy, in all it’s many forms, makes everyone happy and pleases God immensely.  Christian sexuality, practicied the way God intended, causes the world to breathe a sigh of relief. In fact, Paul says,

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

Romans 8:18,19

As the Bride of Christ our destiny is Holy Consummation.  No one who aspires to be God’s wife can deny this central truth.  It is time to love each other as God desires and love our Lord through each other with every fibre of our beings.  Amen.
