Our Hearts Do Go On

We Feel That Love Is Eternal, And We Are Right

Picture ourselves standing in front of a great living masterpiece, infinite in dimension, but viewing is from only six inches away. We see rather clearly what is right in front of us, a bit around our peripheral vision, but are unable to grasp the grandeur and actual point of what God paints. It literally takes the Spirit of God to pull us back and give us His perspective.

I feel like I am standing under a waterfall of Rhema these days. Sometimes, like the priests at the dedication of Solomon’s temple, I can hardly stand it. I sense I am present at the dedication of a greater than Solomon’s temple. i.e. the Body of Christ. The refreshing is both awesome and frightening at the same time.  As God translates me, I see more of the breadth and depth of His plan, however, at the same time I realize how utterly wrong we have been about so many, many things.

Visions of paradise

Therefore, I understand, more and more, why Paul said,

“How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

2 Corinthians 12:4

Thankfully, most of the revelations God is giving I can share, and only a relatively few are unlawful to speak of.  This one has to do with what the movie “Titanic” tells us about eternal love.

There is an innate sense of a greater, timeless reality. We strive to recreate immortality all the time in written word, music, and movies.  In fact, we are preoccupied with the eternal.  We feel unfairly bound by the fourth dimension.

When you listen to music, such as “my heart will go on”, sung by Celine Dion, we instantly identify with the sentiment expressed.  It is simply a universal feeling that love does not stop, but will transcend anything.  Like  portrayed in the movie “Titanic”, something deep within us “knows” that love is forever.

God is love

The fact is, love is eternal because God is eternal.  Beyond this creation there exists a place, called heaven, where love never ceases.  It is a place where, when you hold someone, you hold them forever. The point of the movie “Titanic” is that love transcends anything, even death.

When you listen closely to this song, it attempts to reach, create, and portray a place where our hearts go on, where we are one with the ones we love.  In fact, “My Heart Will God On” is so successful precisely because it is true.  Celine connects with that part of us that still knows we are timeless.

The devil lies to us that there is nothing beyond this world when, in fact, everything and everyone important is beyond this place.  When you look at someone and recognize them like you’ve known them forever, it is, amazingly true.  It is not re-incarnation, like false religions teach, but one eternal incarnation, by one omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God.

Pre-existence is not only for Christ

The realm of God’s Spirit is eternal in a way we cannot fathom with our nature minds.  In that place, we exist already, with God.  These four dimensions, which define and bind us now, are temporal and temporary. Satan, who lost perfection through sin, desperately wants to deny us our perfection.  With a malevolence not possible in this world, fallen lucifer desires to deny us the eternal love he rejected.

Like the love story in Titanic, our hearts go on,  and transcend this creation. The blood of Jesus Christ pays for our sins as we accept him as God’s son.  Jesus makes the way out of the snare of the evil one plain and available for everyone who dares take it.  Literally, Jesus is an open door into heaven which no man can shut.  It is that door I’ve been peering into lately.  Even through the merest crack, the vision of a life more abundant takes my breath away.

Our hearts transcend this creation

In conclusion, trust your hearts, because they do go on.  In fact, those whom God connects us with are not first time meetings, but re-connections of eternal relationships we already have. True love is re-connecting with heavenly mates.  It is a home-coming.  The revelation of God’s love, my friends, is far deeper than we realize.

As God says,

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

The Thing About Seraphim

about seraphim

Seraphim, The Divine Mates Of God

Isaiah sees,

“In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.  And one called out to another and said,

“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.”

Isaiah 6:3

There are many classes of beings in God’s heavenly temple. Angels, Cherubim, and Seraphim to name a few.  We hear a lot about Angels, less about Cherubim, and Seraphim are only mentioned once in the scriptures. Seraphim means “The Burning Ones” or “fiery Ones”.

In heaven, we experience things that can’t be fully described in earthly terms. The best a prophet can do is use words that approximate, capturing as closely as possible, what they see.  When you look into a roaring fire, you feel heat, energy, light, and power. Likewise, when you look at Seraphim, what immediately comes to mind is fierce activity like a dancing flame burning with passion, radiance, and power. They are like a crown of stars, shining brightly, around the head of our Almighty.

Intimacy, familiarity, trust as Seraphim

Seraphim are with God in His heavenly temple. Continually moving about as they minister to Him, they are near the face of God, implying intimacy, familiarity, and trust. They recognize God’s true nature of holiness and cannot cease to mention it as they behold His face.

The thing about Seraphim is that they hear and see what God sees. When our Father speaks they are the first to hear the word of God.  Of all the beings in heaven, they have the most intimate of relationships with our Lord.

While the Angels are the “Sons of the Morning”, the thing about Seraphim is that they are with God and not of this creation. These are beings of unknown antiquity, unfathomable in our earthly context. What Isaiah describes is but a shadow of who and what they truly are.

Moreover, Isaiah’s visions show us that there is a whole host of beings that God has created down throughout the eons of eternity. There is a place, far beyond this plane of this existence, where beings dwell with God in perfection.

Seraphim enjoy revelation by proximity

Isaiah, perhaps the most revelatory of all Old Testament prophets, is the only human ever to see Seraphim.  This privilege was simply a function of being brought close to God in a way no human being, save Jesus Christ, has ever been allowed to be.

Revelation is dependent on proximity to God. This is why Isaiah’s prophecies are the clearest among the Old Testament oracles.  Revelation is light. God said, “let there be light” and thus all light, even physical light, originates with Him.  This is why, when God could not bear to look upon the death of His only begotten Son, the world went dark.

The further away you are from God, the more darkness you experience.  The closer you are to God, the more light you have.  Hell, is the total absence of God and that is why it is termed “outer darkness.”  This was typified by a darkness which fell upon Egypt that could be physically felt.

The thing about Seraphim

In truth, the thing about Seraphim is that they are the equivalent of God’s other wives from special creations that are separate from ours. This is why you see so many examples of multiple wives in the Old Testament. We, mankind, are in the process of becoming God’s wife, destined to join the ranks of His holy unions.

However, Satan desires to kill God’s love just like she tried to kill Eve.  Fallen Luci (fer) wants to drag God’s future wife to the hell that God created for her judgment.  In this way, because of jealousy, the Devil wants to hurt God for eternity.

Jesus died for us

However, Jesus paid the price for God’s bride (mankind) on the cross, redeeming us from sin. When Christ completed God’s work on earth and gave up the ghost, he sealed Satan’s fate. Now, the apple of God’s eye chooses to believe on Jesus and have her sins washed white as snow.

As we approach our time of intimacy as the Bride of Christ, we experience more and more of the heavenly court. God wishes to reveal Himself and His family to us.  As our Bridegroom takes us into His inner chamber we know God as we are known.  As we do, we will realize, just like the queen of Sheba exclaimed, “The half has not been told!”
